I've been a fan of this app since last year. The interface is clean and simple, easy to set up a subscription business and my members like it as well. Plus, they have an excellent customer service team if you ever need assistance with anything.

@natasha_che Very impressive service! It appears listeners must purchase audio on the web, and then they can consume it in the app, is that right? The "apple tax" has been a major hurdle for podcasters to sell their content in an app, and wondering if you had found a way around it.
@inorganik We actually enable in-app purchases for some creators on our higher tiers who want it enabled. For some creators the additional convenience and reduced signup friction is worth the 'apple tax'. But we understand that for most this is a hurdle. Currently if a listener shows interest in purchasing an audio program on the app, we direct them to the web sales page of that program. That's the default we're using.
I have been a huge fan of Soundwise for the last 6 months with a major launch of my entire back catalogue of over 400 meditation and mindfulness tracks. We are launching the platinum option this month and have just arranged our second platinum option.

Soundwise is solid! I purchased it for a client that wanted to use an alternative to Audible. In using the product I found it very easy to navigate and get your audio content up for sale quickly and with a nice interface.
What I also found fascinating was that you could also offer a free version of the same content or mix the versions if you wanted to with free and paid. Lots of options for creators. I work with large companies for creating internal and external podcast so I have podcast hosting companies as clients. So Soundwise is an option when I have clients that need a protected podcast but don't fit into any of the other solutions I have access too.

They also have a great Slack community along with a blog that shares info on how to build your audio business with success stories from other creators that are using Soundwise. It's very worth a try!

I discovered Soundwise a little while ago. I'm a nonprofit executive director at https://landtolearn.org. I'm also a mindfulness and breathwork coach who has started to use the platform to provide guided visualizations and mindfulness meditations to the people I serve - students, members of the military, and farmers (I know, a pretty eclectic group). Although I am using Soundwise as a producer "just" since around 7 months, Soundwise is about changing my business-life very much. (And my first website was online in the year 2000. So I am surely no newcomer).
My advice to everyone having the idea/the goal to produce audios: Go with Soundwise, GO, GO, GO!
