@paulanderie Vanilla javascript on the client with a couple of open source libraries for the charts (charts.js) and the map (openLayers). We host the app on Firebase and use node.js on the server.
This is hardly real time. I'm checking the app and the data is updated 12 hours ago. with the rate of spreading that this coronavirus has, this is too slow.
@adamleo the map gets updates as soon as the governments and the news report new confirmed cases. Unfortunately, the governments and the news don't report cases more than once or twice a day -- especially on a Sunday.
Really nice execution. it would be nice also to add any help tips, emergency hospitals and contact numbers, not only checking the stats that may cause panic. Maybe related news regarding the epidemic...
cool idea. but i'm confused why the tab title says that this is the "official app" of the Corona Virus.
