TIMEPieces is a new NFT community initiative from TIME.
This drop includes NFTs from an incredible group of artists inspired from the prompt “Building a Better Future" and features 37 unique artworks -- totalling 4,676 NFTs.
It's awesome to see traditional media experiment with NFTs. I really like TIME's approach of rewarding their community by providing utility alongside the NFTs.
In case you're wondering how it works.
"Each buyer will receive a random TIMEPiece from the collection that will be revealed once all of the pieces have been sold. Owners of TIMEPieces will receive unlimited access to TIME.com through TIME’s 100th Anniversary, exclusive invites to some of our physical events, and access to a variety of exclusive digital experiences."
The artist that caught my eye the most was FVCKRENDER, really awesome he was able to contribute to this.
@gabe__perez Thank you for hunting this product. We are super proud of this project. Happy to answer any questions the product hunt community might have.
I knew it was going to be an exclusivity through high cost transaction project, tried anyway, failed. Theres no way to offer a regulated offering of this magnitude on the ETH mainnet, high gas is pretty much immediately transferred to the floor price of a project such as this which I assume is and or headed for bluechip status. I guess in this case high cost ETH mainnet delivers value and security. Hopefully TIME expands some other offerings in a format thats relevant to a larger swath of community
well TIME did expand offering of free NFT drop to those who interacted with the contract. apparently good for mint access when paired with POAP token….so the question is…..how do we get thee POAP?
Oh, I think I've seen some tokens on opensea by you. Well, the price range got me surprised, but I guess that's wine when some works blow up, and others don't. I even thought about buying something from you because there's always a chance of something to rise in price in an absolutely unexpected moment, but for some reason, I changed my mind and decided to get a card from https://myimpactpower.org/. I guess, the positive impact on the environment made me do it, but I can't say that I regret this decision.
