Hi everyone đź‘‹
Excited to share my new project Conductor today.
I built Conductor as a tool to simplify and automate some of the different ways I've been using FFmpeg over the years. It is a desktop app written with Electron that utilizes FFmpeg under the hood to enable various file transformations between images, videos and gifs.
You can use Conductor to compress large video files, convert videos and images between formats, convert videos to gifs, convert images to gifs, you can even use it to convert gifs to images.
Congrats on the launch! I wish there was something like this for Windows :(
By the way, one-time payment is great - are you planning to keep it that way, or eventually switch to subscription?
Thank you @simonas_kauzonas! The main reason it is Mac-only currently is that I don't have a windows machine to test builds on, but I’m open to suggestions! I'd like to keep it as a one-time payment, I think the only reason that would change in the future is if I added features to it that had ongoing costs on my end.
Congratulations on the launch! I've been using lots of different tools for various forms of file compression and transformation. It'll be nice to have them all housed in one app now. Great work!
@mrsanjeevs Amazing! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out/message me, and I will let you know as soon as webp support is live!
Conductor is a game-changer for anyone dealing with media file conversions! Simplifying FFmpeg’s powerful capabilities into an intuitive Electron desktop app makes tasks like compressing videos or converting formats so much easier. I love the flexibility it offers, whether you’re turning videos into gifs or switching image formats. This tool is definitely going to save me a lot of time and hassle in my workflow. Excited to give Conductor a try and see how it enhances my media processing!
