Commit is an iOS application to build lasting habits. Track and visualize your consistency with a beautiful grid. Set and achieve your long-term goals without the added pressure of maintaining a streak.
Hello, hunters! It’s Aidar and Beknar (@beknar) greeting you! Happy new year! 🎉
Ever felt bad after breaking the streak?
That’s not your fault, it is just habit tracker apps sometimes put too much pressure on us. We have been there, that’s why we created Commit 🟩, a habit tracker that prioritizes consistency over streaks.
**🎄 NEW YEAR SPECIAL **
It’s time to plan your habits for the New Year. Do you have New Year’s resolutions in mind and you want to keep yourself accountable? Create a list of habits, receive a resolution card share it with friends on social networks!
🧩 Habit name and regularity, that’s all that you need to start committing.
📊 No pie-charts. No notifications. No preludes.
📱 Visualize your progress. Beautifully-designed grid keeps you aligned with your consistency, not just streaks.
🚀 We believe that skipping is inevitable, not because you are lazy, but because life happens. What matters is whether you keep going.
⏳ Control your history. Toggling completion of the given habit is allowed both for the current day and the days in the past.
💚 Feelings over figures. We believe that stats, dates, reminders are not important. What important is how you feel, that's why app doesn’t throw at you all that details.
📅 Calendar View. For those who feels more comfortable seeing the picture spread across the months and dates. We provide the feature to reveal just what's needed to be shown in the form of calendar view.
🌐 Offline. You don’t need an Internet connection to use the app.
🔒 Privacy. You don’t need an account to use the app. The data is stored on your phone.
✨ Clean and snappy, that’s how our app feels.
🔜 Next on our list:
🔮 Widgets that keep you aligned with the big picture – by showing you recaps of last week, month, quarter.
⌚️ Apple Watch app to help you stay committed without distracting yourself with the phone.
❓ We’re so excited to launch and would love to hear your feedback along the way! Feel free to reach out to us at twitter.com/trycommit
Let’s stay committed together 💚

Co-founder @ Commit
Hey, hunters! It’s Beknar, co-founder of Commit.
Streaks can be a helpful way to motivate yourself, but they can also have negative effects. Instead of wanting to learn or do something because you enjoy it, you might start wanting to do it just to keep your streak going. Some apps even make you pay money if you miss a day and want to keep your streak. Our app is designed to help you let go of this way of thinking.
Thank you! 💚
I get an immeasurable amount of pleasure from using this app. Functionality and experience was made on highest level of quality, especially Onboarding.
I wanna add 10 more habits just to get that "Bzzzzz" commit animation. ITS FIRE!
i can’t believe this app is free. it’s beautiful, easy to use and has no bullcrap functionalities. i love the pressing button functionality in order to commit to a habit, it feels grounding.
also love the philology of consistency rather than streaking.
thank you so much for this product, i’ve been looking for something like this for ages!
@hificarolina Hey Carolina!
Let me be honest and deliver this to you from the first hand – this app is free only for limited usage (first 30 habit completions i.e. 30 free commits). Although up to this moment the only option to proceed after you reach the limit was to buy the subscription, we are preparing to roll out the update to be able to use the app for free forever but on the limited basis (e.g. track limited amount of commits).
I am so sorry, if this disappoint you in any way. We really appreciate your support, and it means a lot to us that you are enjoying all the little details that you put into it.
We are small team of 2 indie developers and in order to keep the development going and to still pay our bills we need to monetize the app.
Hope that you stay committed to your goals in the 2023 whether you decide to stick with the app or not🙏🚀
@hificarolina I am not sure what exact numbers are because Apple does calibrate it depending on your country – you can download the app and check it out for yourself!
@hificarolina Hey Carolina! reaching back to you to let you know, that we are planning to make changes to our pricing, maybe you would find it interesting – https://twitter.com/trycommit/st...
@nimishpatel19 To be honest, we didn't really believed that there is a space for "yet another habit-tracker", but it turns out there is some. Thank you so much for your support!
We are focusing more on iOS at the moment, but we'll see where the traction gets us – who knows, maybe we will roll out the Android version if things work out 😁
