Grammarly has the same functionality regarding contextual proofreading, so you are not the first I assume

@diskevich Thanks for the feedback. Great point! (I like Grammarly.) We're the first to proofread within *business* contexts. For example, a sales email is different than a support response or a press release. We have some very specific things we want to do that aren't public - and this fits into our vision. Grammarly does have a setting for general contexts such as business vs creative for example, and style, etc. choices.

Looks like a great product, it would be great to merge with Grammarly, or if there was a website that lets use both of the products at the same time. of course, you can use extensions of both apps but that not as user-friendly as it would be with these two merged or a website that uses both apps (API).

@kura955 Thanks for the feedback. Yes there is some synergy there. I like Grammarly. We're laser focused on business communication. And, we'll be adding spelling and grammar checking among all of our cool future business features.

Looks really cool. I have been using Grammarly for a while but that's just for corrections. Would give this a spin for some of our outreach emails and campaigns. Good luck @willmurphy

@vivekk Thanks! We are the first contextual (meaning, you choose your goal and it proofreads differently based on business goal) proofreader that we know of. It's designed to help with marketing email campaigns, sales emails, and support communication as well. It works ok for web copy and press releasees. We're working on improving those, so stay tuned. If you have any feedback we can be reached at support (at) Cognifyd.com

Hi Product Hunt! We have a simple online text editor that analyzes words, phrases, structure, and tone to give constructive feedback on written business communication (not spell check). We have hundreds of users at this point, and they wanted a browser extension. So, we're launching a Chrome browser extension so that you can have your written business communication analyzed in Gmail, Twitter, LinkedIn, Zendesk, and nearly everywhere else you write on the web.
