DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS!

Pros:

Free, fun, useful, supports js, py, go & swift

Cons:

Can't run code without signing in, sometimes want to open incognito browser to test an alternative real quick.

Yalcin Ozdemir
I had a chance to watch their presentation at Product Hunt Istanbul Meetup, and I loved what they have built. The team behind Codela seems very promising and I am very excited about the future of Codela. Thank you for supporting developers.
Ebru Turun
@yalcinozdemir thanks a lot! 😊Codela will keep getting better for developers ✌️
Mustafa Kemal Aksel
Is there any way that I can reach other users to chat about the questions?
Murat Sutunc
@mukea we're implementing comments on challenge pages. using comments, users will be able to share code snippets (although that will mark it as spoilers) and have meaningful discussions on perf etc.
Ömercan Çelikler
Which technology stack did you use for making Codela?
Ebru Turun
@omercii We 💖 Javascript @ Codela. We use node, mongodb & lots of docker 💪 Fun Fact: Murat used to work on ES6 at Microsoft.

Very good option to prepare interviews

Hy my name is Murat, one of the co-founders of Codela. Almost every developer we know has an interview horror story. After interviewing more than 2.000 candidates for leading technology & finance companies we have figured out the underlying core reason - MISCOMMUNICATION! 😰 In most cases, both the candidate and the interviewer don't know how to prepare for the interviews. Candidates study inefficiently, focusing on inessentials. The interviewers prepare the trickiest questions expecting candidates to pull off the mission impossible hacking scene. We're trying to solve this problem by providing both sides a free platform. Think of it as 🌟 WIKIPEDIA-FOR-TECH-INTERVIEWS 🌟. As we grow our collective interviewing knowledge, things will only get better for us, the developers.

Codela is very helpful in college.

Pros:

Multiple programming languages, free and fun

Cons:

No scoring system

Fatih Zor
How many languages do you support? Will you add more?
Murat Sutunc
@fatih_zor We currently support 11 languages. We'll be adding Crystal, Rust and R shortly!
Ivan Sirditov
And you are going to add code verification, because in the task Recursive Product Function With Only Summation, no check to use the product operation
Murat Sutunc
hey @sirditov - checking for recursiveness is a bit tricky. we're hoping to tackle this in the future!
Erkan Ercan

Looks really awesome guys! Definitely will be using this in the near future. However I do want to point out that clicking the 'Activate' link in the email on signup prompts my Inbox by Google to display the following popup: Suspicious link. This link leads to an untrusted site. Are you sure you want to proceed to app.codela.io? My guess is you are using a http:// link in the email instead of a https://
Murat Sutunc
@cory_mayfield Thanks for reporting this issue! We'll fix it right away.
