looks like we’re launching it 🐸
Esus 🛡️
Congrats on the launch! I love the domain :D Can you detail a bit about how pricing will look in the future? Wasn't able to find it under plans. I'd also love to hear more about what this could be an alternative to? (Figma or Bubble?) Wishing you the best!

@esus Hi, and thanks for checking out Control! You can create a website, connect your domain and publish it 30 times completely for FREE, but if you want more - we offer an in-app subscription with 20 projects, 50k monthly visitors and many more for only $30/mo. There's no such tool on the internet that allows devs and designers to collaborate in a single space (that's why we are building it in the 1st place), but if I were to find the closest relative to Control I'd say that maybe it's Framer, though they're taking a bit different direction.

@rostichek Looks amazing! Good luck with the launch!

We've been building and using Control in our studio projects for quite some time, I'm thrilled we are finally launching and releasing it for other designers and developers! Big thanks to my team and to all our users who helped us during alpha and private beta.

Meet Control - a freehand website editor with dev capabilities that empowers you and your team to create great websites. Control is the first platform to integrate the unique needs of designers and developers. Designers get the freehand workflow they love, while developers enjoy unlimited customization in their preferred dev environment. And, critically, Control allows you to implement your ideas whenever they come—no more backtracking and endless feedback rounds. When collaboration is seamless, craftsmanship flourishes. Key features: Design, animate, and preview right from the editor. Unified environment for a seamless collaboration between designers, developers, and clients Headless API and Next.JS SDK Made between NYC🗽 and Lviv 🇺🇦. 🛠️ Some cool features we've included in our Oct release: Scroll-based animations Hover animations 'Sticky' tool Layouts manager Custom components (that's a big one!) Layers panel (toggle on 'L') Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts support Custom Fonts support Visible distances between elements (on 'alt') Easy desktop to mobile design Great video compatibility! Unlimited steps for animations! No image/video quality compression Smart snapping to elements/grid And many more to come.

This website is a great tool for designers and developers. The ease of creating animations here is mesmerizing. Bravo to the creators of this product!

@yurii_enttsel Thank you so much! Glad you liked it, I've seen what you did in Control and it looks awesome!
Ilnur Kalimullin
Looks dope, you got my upvote! What are the main differences from Readymag or Cargo?
Ross Sokolovski
@ikalimullin Thanks! Great question - Cargo is a great editor though it doesn't support freehand editing and it's an essential feature of Control. While it allows for a quick website creation we allow for more customization and complexity. Same stands for Readymag - as far as Im aware they provide a simple code-free way to create websites while we focus on providing both designer and developer with a more flexible workflow. For example, as a developer you don't need to limit yourself for a code injection in Control - you can use our Next.js SDK along with Headless API. As for a designer - instead of describing I highly recommend you to just try our Editor and Animation workflow - it's pretty much next level!

Very cool thing 😍 I made my CV using Control 🫡
Ihor Karas
daamn! Yeah guys, congrats! I've discovered Control not so long time ago but I decided to use it for creating my personal website. Its simplicity and ability to start creating right away just got me :) For me as a creative it's very important and I feel like it's lacking in many other tools that I've tried. Keep it up! I'm very excited about where this product gonna go
Arsen Batyuchok 🇺🇦
@ihor_karas Thanks for choosing Control, I'm excited to see your website live! :)
Very useful product especially for designers! Congrats on your launch

Some silos are meant to be broken. Two years ago, me with my friend Arsen onboarded on a journey to bring web designers and web developers together under a single app so they can enjoy creative collaboration the way we did. So we decided to experiment and create a place where we can collaborate, create and contribute to each other process in a way that’s frictionless, requires less management and prompts expression and creativity. An app that’s great for designers, great for developers but most importantly for collaboration between them. With this idea in mind we assembled a small team and about a half year ago we launched a first private beta of Control. We onboarded about 300 test users and been extremely delighted by all the great work they done in Control. Today we’re launching our first public version! 🥂

Congratulations!
Oleg Svirskyi
Hey Ctrl team, congratz on the launch! Is it more suitable for solo designers or it’s more for design studios with in-house developers?
Arsen Batyuchok 🇺🇦
@oleg_svirskyi Hey, good question! Control is built in such a way that allows solo creatives to turn a blank page into a fully interactive website. Though it's full potential can be unleashed when used in collaboration between designers and developers.
Julian Fleig
This looks fantastic! I often wished for a website builder like this back then. It is easy to use and at the same time extremely flexible. The only criticism I have is that you should optimize the appearance of the websites on smartphones. Some texts are cut off on the iPhone.
Arsen Batyuchok 🇺🇦
@useai hi, thanks a lot for the feedback! Can you share the link so I can debug?
Julian Fleig
@arsen_batyuchok For example at the end of your example site about the soviet secret service the "Publishing" slogan.
