What’s good Product Hunt!
Tyson here from Clyp. We’re psyched to show you guys what we’ve been working on.
Clyp is the easiest way to upload, record and share audio - give it a try, you don’t even need an account. My Co-Founder @jpatapoff and I created it because, as musicians ourselves, we needed a simple way to share quick song ideas and get feedback without having to jump through a bunch of hoops or deal with the pressure of releasing an entire track.
Today we’re thrilled to introduce an all-new, completely redesigned look for Clyp that includes a slick new logo, a more user-friendly interface and a refined focus on making it easier than ever to upload and share audio.
We’ll be hanging out most of the day, can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Cheers,
Tyson

I have been working with Tyson, Jordan and the Clyp team since late last year and I have been impressed by their ability to keep the platform simple and easy to use while continuing to enhance the functionality. The new design looks great and discovering interesting content is easier the ever before. Well done guys.
@blakeyeager Thanks Blake! There's definitely a balancing act between adding features and maintaining a simple UX. We're thrilled with how the new stuff turned out.
I've been waiting for something like this, great job guys. Will there ever be a feature to interact with clyps at a certain timeframe (like soundcloud)? That would be a neat feature.
I'm a professional musician and have been using Clyp for a while now, it's part of my creative process. My bandmates and I use it to bounce around ideas, record snippets at practice to remember later, or share early versions of stuff we're working on in the studio. It's always been super easy to use and reliable, but even more so after the recent update.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the Clyp team has in store for the future as they focus more on us "creator" types.
PS That's sick that Slowhand himself Eric Clapton uses Clyp! Somebody mail that guy a "Eric Clypton" shirt.
Clyp delivers to you what they really promise, a really easy to use piece of software.
That's very hard to find today. A f*#*ng easy to use piece of software that works like a charm leaving you with zero complexity.
I use it actually to save my three years old son's speeches.
When that happens I need a very easy-to-use recorder that I can always carry with me.
Thanks Clyp!. thanks a lot for saving my most precious memories... keep rocking it!
@g_ortega_david Thanks David! That's awesome that you've been using it to record your son's speeches :) We discover new uses for Clyp everyday, and one's like that always bring a big smile to my face.
Really digging the new look and that I can just jump in and listen to Clyp's off the front page. Just got lost down the random Clyp rabbit hole and am currently jamming some jazz tune.
@misplacedpants Yes, the random Clyp button is quite the rabbit hole.
@akgspan Now that we've launched our big branding update and redesign, we're going to be focusing more on launching new creator-focused features. Things like high quality file preservation, so if you upload a .WAV file we will preserve that file type both for streaming and for downloading. That's just one of a number of exciting new features we have coming down the pipeline.
While I'm not a musician, I still find a ton of value in the Clyp platform for simple memos and reminders to myself, as well as recording meetings with advisor so I can listen to them later.
The iPhone app JustWorks™ and the playback audio is amazing.
Their tagline couldn't be more accurate, it's the easiest way on the web to upload and share audio.
@matthew_egan Thanks Matt! Our goal when we first created Clyp was to become the EASIEST way to share audio. No fluff, no bullshit. Looks like we're doing a pretty good job of it :)
Reese here from GamingForGood.net, we actually integrate Clyp on two fronts: it allows our livestreamers to upload sounds for their donation alerts AND it allows their viewers to intuitively just hit a 'record' button when they make a donation so that a voice message is then played on the livestream. I don't think there's any other service we could have integrated in such a great way and with such ease to achieve this and it's actually seen as one of our main killer features. The new design is awesome, big props to the Clyp devs.
I really like the UI/UX of the new site, but the real "juice" is in the app. It is simply the BEST choice to quickly share important audio tracks with friends, family and work. Great job form the Clyp team so far!
