Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Matt, the CEO of Clockwise, and I’m thrilled to be back here with our biggest launch to date. Eight years ago, Clockwise started on a path to solve how inefficiently teams manage their time with a calendar solution that dynamically reacts to scheduling conflicts as things change throughout the work week. So, instead of manually calculating all the myriad downstream impacts of a single meeting being scheduled, your calendar essentially optimizes itself around the clock. Today, we’re announcing what I believe is set to make an even bigger dent in solving the scheduling problem: Prism, a first-of-its-kind intelligent calendar. Prism lets you tap into the magic of Clockwise, unlocking a whole new way to manage your workday. Here are some of the highlights: 🪄 Schedule the impossible - Powered by our scheduling engine’s capability to test millions of event arrangements across calendars, Prism makes it easy to find time on even the busiest of days. With just a few words or clicks, you can make way for urgent priorities unlike ever before. ❇️ Schedule at the best time, every time - Clockwise doesn’t just find open slots. It uncovers the best time to schedule anything from a 1:1 to a 10-person meeting—all based on our deep understanding of you and your colleague’s calendars and preferences. ⚡️ Reschedule lightning-fast - Need to reschedule in a pinch? Sick kid at home or running late from an appointment? Head to Prism and simply ask to “reschedule my afternoon” and we’ll take care of the rest. 💬 Bring the scheduling magic to Slack - Simply type your scheduling need (e.g. “Book 30 minutes with Jason tomorrow”) alongside the /cw slash command in Slack to use Clockwise to find time, right where your conversations are already happening. ✅ Never miss a to-do - Pop your to-do list into the Prism chat to convert tasks into flexible holds on your calendar. And so much more… All this is made possible because Clockwise uses the powerful natural language processing capabilities of LLMs to translate your calendar request into its proprietary scheduling engine to understand exactly what you want when it comes to your calendar. Married with Clockwise’s ability to analyze vast amounts of data across multiple calendars at once – Prism is the most intelligent calendar that’s ever existed.

@voxmatt @kacy_boone1 Congrats on your latest launch. Love that Clockwise goes the extra mile unlike tools like Calendly :)
Matt Martin
@kacy_boone1 @rohanrecommends thanks Rohan! We certainly believe intelligent tools like Prism will increasingly make tools like Calendly feel very primitive!
Kacy Boone ❇️
@rohanrecommends @voxmatt thank you, Rohan! We care a lot about making scheduling easier for busy people. Appreciate your support!
Devin doggy
@voxmatt Congrats on the launch! 🎉 I’m excited about the advancements you’ve made. The integration with Slack and natural language processing capabilities sound like game-changers for managing complex schedules. Could you elaborate on how Prism handles conflicting events across multiple calendars? Also, how does it ensure privacy and security when analyzing and managing scheduling data? Looking forward to trying it out!
Ana
@voxmatt @devindsgbyq thanks for the support! If you have more than one calendar, you can choose to connect another calendar in settings. While a single Prism account focuses on a primary calendar for now, the additional calendar is used to know what times you may be unavailable, which is considered in Prism interactions. For your privacy concerns, we don’t train the AI with user data in any way and all of the experience is designed with user privacy in mind. More here: https://www.getclockwise.com/pri...

This seems like a game changer for anyone with a busy schedule. Does it take time zones in calculation for international teams?
Matt Martin
@petar_k it does!
Michael Tappel
@petar_k Just to plus-one Matt's comment, when you're scheduling with folks in other time zones, Prism tries to look for times in the intersection of everyone's working hours. If those people aren't Clockwise users yet, we'll assume 9-5pm in local time, but they should definitely sign up :). If we can't find any times in everyone's working hours, then we'll try to maximize the number of attendees who can make it
Raphael D'Amico
@petar_k @michael_tappel And the awesome part is that people can say both their working hours and meeting hours, so Clockwise can help teams prioritize times when they want to meet and keep more protected times where they would prefer to focus. It's also really easy in the chrome extension to see everyone's working hours.
Steffi Nicolaïdes
Your presentation video is outstanding!! Congrats on your launch! How did you do this video?
Vicky Thomas
@steffi_nicolaides Thank you!! Our very talented brand designer @jonschafer worked with the incredible folks at Yatta (https://yatta.studio/), and our internal team, to create it!
Kacy Boone ❇️
@steffi_nicolaides So glad you like it!
Richard Song
Wow, Matt! Prism sounds like a game-changer for scheduling! The ability to dynamically optimize meetings and find the best times with just a few clicks will definitely save us all a ton of time. I love how it integrates into Slack too—that's a real time-saver! Excited to see how this impacts productivity for our teams. Upvoted! 🚀
Ana
@renchu_song Thanks so much for the support, Renchu. We can't wait to hear what you and your teams think!
Two Heads
Ohh this looks so good guys! I'll definitely give this a try! I might use it for handling logistics with 2 kids and their schoolruns. Do you have any experience with this? Congrats on the launch! :)
Ana
@twoheads you can connect a personal calendar in settings so that Prism knows when you're unavailable or you can tell Prism to schedule specific times as school pickups and drop-offs. You can also use Prism in Slack if you're waiting for the kids to be released!
Kacy Boone ❇️
@twoheads I can definitely relate, just managed to get my 2 kids out the door for school actually. I personally use Clockwise & Prism to sync my personal calendar to my work calendar. School pickups & dropoffs are non-negotiable times, so I appreciate that Clockwise can defend that time for me.
Alexandre Contador
This looks exactly what every team should have. Would you implement a meeting ROI and spending when there are too many meetings? (Wonderful for management) Congrats on the launch 🙌
Vicky Thomas
@alexdigitalmkt thanks Alexandre - we think so, too! Meeting ROI and spending isn't currently on our roadmap, but we have definitely heard that request before! In the meantime, you might like our Focus Time feature that helps move meetings around automatically to create more time in your day for deep work.

This sounds impressive, Matt! I'm curious about the AI behind Prism—how does it learn individual preferences over time? Is there a way for users to tweak settings to better align with their specific workflow? Also, I'm interested in how data privacy is handled with all this processing.
Matt Martin
@dance17219 great questions! All user preferences are customizable in Clockwise settings where you can let Prism know everything from your working hours to when you prefer to have focus time. Right now, the AI doesn’t use prompts to learn over time; all of this is handled more explicitly in settings. This intersects with your question about privacy. We don’t train the AI with user data in any way and all of the experience is designed with user privacy in mind. More here: https://www.getclockwise.com/pri... Thanks for the questions!
Krishnan Raghupathi
Hey, it's Krishnan, Product at Clockwise. Now, I'm definitely biased, but for me Clockwise has fulfilled the great promise of every productivity tool ever built by humanity since we were hunter-gatherers - the promise of more time to add more value. With our newest launch, I find it so easy to find the best time all the time to collaborate with everyone I work with - a truly intelligent calendar. I can't wait for you to try it.
Vicky Thomas
@krishnan_raghupathi but would you say.... *product*-hunter-gatherers? :P
Mary Garcia
@voxmatt What an impressive idea! Prism sounds like a real game changer for managing calendars. Kudos to you and the team for creating such a smart solution.
William Jin
Clockwise Prism could revolutionize my scheduling chaos. How do you think AI calendars will change our daily routines?
Michael Tappel
@william_jin Clockwise Product Manager here! I would bet that in the near-term, we don't replace people's daily routines so much as we augment them and make them less tedious. For instance, if you're someone who likes to start off your day with an hour of prep time: - Intelligent calendars like Prism can help you block off that time in a snap (and make it flexible in case it needs to shift) - During your prep time, if you need to reshuffle the events in your day, you'll be able to do so easily with a calendar that understands your intent and your preferences. I'm sure we'll all be learning more as we go!
Kyrylo Silin
Hey Matt, I'm interested in how Prism handles conflicting priorities. For example, if multiple team members all need urgent meetings scheduled. How does Prism balance these competing needs? Congrats on the launch!
Ana
@kyrylosilin Prism helps find time for urgent meetings by considering which meetings are flexible versus those that are not. Prism will present the least conflicted time in the timeline you asked for. This includes consideration of resolvable conflicts by moving flexible meetings to new times compared to nonresolvable conflicts. You will also receive other time options so you can weigh the pros and cons of each which are outlined in the proposals Prism shows.
Kat Corzati
@kyrylosilin I want to add that we love considering all calendar use-cases for knowledge workers, and have areas of the tool particularly helpful for each, but Prism helps with a packed schedule in particular. While Ana mentioned the conflict resolution logic, I'd love to slide these best practices over to address the rules that get setup for Prism to work its best. (I know, very shocking from a Support person, ha!) https://support.getclockwise.com...
Ditarth Desai
Congrats on the launch of Prism! This AI-powered calendar is a brilliant solution for simplifying complex scheduling. Well done!
Matt Martin
@ditarth_wbs Thank you!
Dorothy Thompson
It's amazing to see that so many organizations already using this tool.
Matt Martin
@dorothy_thompson We have the world's best companies using Clockwise!
Linda Pei
This has definitely been a game changer for me! It's helped me save so much time doing tedious calendaring at work, whether it's playing calendar tetris to find a spot for a meeting, or quickly resolving a whole myriad of issues as they come up. Try it out and let us know what you think!
Blade Kotelly
This is the release I've been waiting for -- my calendar is the one thing that I need an LLM to help me deal with when I'm under incredible stress
Vicky Thomas
@blade_kotelly thanks for the support, Blade! There are so many gimmicky AI products out there - we're excited to be surfacing AI in a way that's _actually_ helpful. Being able to schedule the way my brain thinks ("I need 30 mins with Blade, Anthony, Noel, John, Chris, and Nate late next week") has been such time-saver for me!
Scott Brown
Woo! Love this. I have gotten so much value from focus time and smart holds, really excited to see what can be done with a scheduling assistant.
Trent Kennelly
Clockwise is already a phenomenal tool! Really looking forward to getting to know this update even better. First impressions, though, are definitely great! Awesome work 👏👏👏
Matt Martin
@trent_kennelly Thanks Trent!
Ana
@trent_kennelly thanks for your continued support, Trent!
Anthony Morelli
Love this approach to product development: Apply what's possible with LLMs to make a very natural interface on top of an incredibly robust (and proprietary) platform that's been years in the making. The result feels magical, but the magic is really in solving hard design, engineering, and product problems through the entire stack/experience and over the long term. Kudos to the whole team!
Kacy Boone ❇️
@anthony_morelli thank you for the support, Anthony!
Alexander Scott Williams
The ability to effortlessly handle complex scheduling, especially with features like rescheduling via natural language commands, is wonderful. Also, Integrating scheduling directly into Slack is such a smooth move; it keeps everything in one place!
Kacy Boone ❇️
@alexanderscottwilliams Thanks so much, Alexander! As you give it a try, we'd love to hear if you have any feedback.
Anastasiia Pryimachenko
