Hello Product Hunt! I'm Peter, the founder of Cling. Over the last year, we've been busy improving our vision of Cling as a place for all your notes, bookmarks, media & files, tasks, and more. And we made Cling much more affordable for everyone. Cling is there to simplify your digital life, never lose something important, and stay organized. The one thought that sparked the idea of Cling is: "Where do I put this?" In our digital lives, we constantly come across stuff we want to cling to (pun very much intended) but don't know where to put it. As a result, we have amassed bookmarks, notes, file and e-mail folders, and stars and likes in dozens of apps. And then we get lost and struggle to bring everything together. For us - and hopefully, for our users - the answer to "Where do I put this?" is just: Cling. Cling makes it incredibly easy to combine your notes with your bookmarks, media, files, etc. On top of that, if you prefer working with tasks, everything can be turned into a task. Or just use some kind of Kanban-style - it works great with how everything is organized. Cling helps you. *Our goal: Cling should be affordable for everyone* Without the pressure of investors, we are free to develop Cling into the product we dream of and want for ourselves. Furthermore, we are not as interested in reaching profit goals - we want Cling to be affordable. That's why Cling Free is not a crippled trial version but gives you enough features and space to use it in the long run - always for free. On top of our free offer, we *cut the price for Cling Pro in half to 4 EUR per month*. And with that, we *doubled the storage space to 50 GB*. *What's new in Cling?* Some highlights we worked on: - *New user interface:* We redesigned the app with everything users loved very much or not that much in mind. We think, Cling is now easier and faster to use than ever, and your content looks even more beautiful. - *Even better media support:* One of Cling's strong suit has always been its support for media. Embed video, audio, YouTube, SoundCloud, and other media sources. Cling will ensure that video and audio playback is always smooth and fast. You can also take pictures or record video/audio directly in Cling. - *Tasks:* We integrated task management into the regular content flow. You can turn every content into a task. We built in as much task management as necessary without adding the bloat that most task management solutions come with. - *Calendar:* Keep track of all your tasks either with our advanced search or with the new calendar view that shows you exactly what's up. - *Video meetings:* We introduced Cling Meet at the start of the pandemic to give schools an online classroom and to help teams with the challenges of working from home. With Cling Meet, working on boards together is even easier and more fun. - *Version history:* We constantly refine the way for you to discover new or changed content on your shared boards. For us, it is crucial that you don't miss anything and are not overwhelmed. That's why we added the version history, which gives you insight into all the changes and lets you go back to every previous version of a board. - *Share as link:* You can share a board as a link with anybody regardless of whether they have a Cling account. Send a link to friends, customers, or team members. Or use Cling boards on your website or blog. We were so enthusiastic about this feature and how Cling looks and feels that we made our whole website at cling.com with Cling boards! There is so much more we worked on, like an innovative print function, more search options, improved keyboard shortcuts, desktop drag and drop of files, and apps for Mac, PC, Linux, Android, and iOS (via PWA) We like to think of Cling as an easy-to-grasp note-taking app that warps into a great companion in helping you to stay creative and organized. Give it a try, and I look forward to your comments and opinions! Peter

cling.com. I have been using the tool for a few years now. It has improved more and more over time. I use it to store all my digital content in one place and share it with others. All the content I come across in the course of a day ends up in cling.com. I organise events with friends or family in cling.com, share pictures or documents or archive important content. I can access everything easily and quickly. I have control over who can see what and I can quickly find what I am looking for. Whether I share content on mobile devices with cling.com or use the browser extension on the desktop. I always know that nothing gets lost. I wouldn't want to miss it! Veiko

Hi all, I have been using cling for quite a while now and I conduct extensive R&D and organization activities for my project 'Reciprocity' - A new web 3.0 and Ai powered social network platforming concept. -- Till date I have found it to be very effective for my needs with a few areas of improvement needed for power users. (Small but key features that would greatly boost productivity, ease of use etc. especially for power users) The good thing is that I have found the team at Cling to be very receptive to feedback and incrementally the missing / desired functionality is being added (if a little slowly) and the product, features and value proposition has steadily improved since launch They have also improved their pricing plan , while doubling storage - which is a step very much in the right direction as well. Their separate desktop and android app are a great feature too additionaly. All in all, a great R & D, Organization & Productivity tool with a very nice interface, ease of use and features that will hopefully continue to keep improving and refining the existing features and design to become a real asset to all its user base in time to come. Certainly, Recommended for new users even at this time.
