@saje_sandhu This may be outside of your model, but it would great to have an option to add commentary around a link. I was a heavy user of Kifi (RIP) and have been looking for something similar since they announced they'll be shutting down soon. elink has a # of the features I liked w/ Kifi and could possibly be a fit for me but I need the comments function (forgive me if I've overlooked it). The ability to share content is great, but without a context to attach to it, it's not as useful, at least IMO.
@scottwwilliams I can totally understand where you're coming from. We actually allow users to alter the image, title and description for every link that is fetched. Many of our users alter the description to add their own commentary for the links that they are sharing. We would love for you to take a look and play around with it. I have a feeling it's going to meet your needs:)
This is pretty awesome, I have been using this for a few months now and often use this for my talks at the local Meetups and at General Assembly.
Some feature request include :
* Editing images ( pan, crop, highlight, etc )
* Support GIFs
Keep up the great work @saje_sandhu@raj_sandhu
@saijo_george@raj_sandhu We're excited that elink's able to help make your life easier:) Yes & yes both items are on our roadmap! Thanks for all of your support!
I bookmark pages and create folders for collections. It's pain to share these folders with others. Elink solves this problem in a very elegant manner. Love it! I'm sold.
@xmanav We are glad elink is solving these problems for you :) Have you check out our new video on the different types of content you can share with elink
@raj_sandhu one hickup on value promise...you need a glimpse of analytics before asking for an upgrade. This way I just don't know if there's value enough for me to pay an upgrade... (by the way I started testing https://elink.io/p/product-manag...)
@tsoniotis Sure I can understand. We added a demo video right next to the upgrade button when you click on analytics inside the app. Here is a quick shortcut Hope this helps! BTW The page you created looks awesome :)
@raj_sandhu seen the video, it just does not relate to my efforts...it's very good but generic...maybe just show me the "total views"? something to lure me in....
@saje_sandhu I've created this https://elink.io/998c5 your tool works perfectly to curated links, It would be nice to be able to add tags to the links that can be a good filter in the page. Besides I put a long tagline and is not displayed as a two line text, but a whole great line of text that affects the header design, you could check that, maybe a max character limit could work. I simplified the tag line so now it looks good.
@waqaskarim86 We both allow users to collect visual bookmarks, but that's where the similarity ends.
The major differences are the following:
1) We are focused on not only allowing users to save content, but we want users to quickly be able to share that content professionally.
2) Users can turn their collections into a visually appealing stand-alone web pages that they can share with a single-link (great for product pages, social media, etc.).
3) Users can convert their collections to curated email newsletters (awesome for industry news, company updates, client correspondence etc.)
4) Users can embed their collections onto a website or blog (fastest way to create resource pages, product pages, press pages, etc.)
5) We have multiple layouts users can choose from to decide how they want their links to be displayed.
Would love to have you take a look at us!
@raj_sandhu I played around with the iframe: http://wpexpert.ca/elink/ not bad but it will be nice to be able to remove my name at the top and header. I don't mind with the footer. Possible?
@wpexpertca Wonderful! You can actually remove your profile. Just click the blue edit button on the elink you created and go to profile and click cancel and it will deselect the profile. It will update in real time. Let me know if you have any more questions. Happy to help!
Thanks for hunting us @kwdinc!

@saje_sandhu Hi Saje, as a user for around 3 months now - I love the simplicity and end result of Elink! You guys have continued to develop new features too and I like the way you listen intently to your future prospective users, who have great ideas, that are always considered for future releases. Good luck as you progress further into 3.0! Regards, Robin.
@robinyearsley Thank you so much for the kind words! We're lucky to have such a great group of users like you, who are as passionate about elink as we are:)
@saje_sandhu how soon for the custom URL's. Folks like to improve their SEO, not detract. Product looks flipping sweet! Love the embeds, responsiveness and options for curating links. Really brilliant stuff. In the wake of curation overload, this is refreshing.
@raj_sandhu I use it to curate my Youtube video ideas and also share those links when I'm collaborating with others. It's so great to have one link for all my SM channels because otherwise it seems to take up so much space. I could go on & on but the analytics is so crucial for me and you guys have done a great job with that too! Keep it up guys!
@geec That is awesome. You just nailed it. Since Instagram only allows you to add one link in your bio, elink is a great way to solve that one link problem :)
Great product for everyone!
Every product has its perfect use and perfect user and I think I just found mine! Being a bridge to busy clients and to our extremely talented product development team, I have recommended hundreds of products to my past clients - having it tested, then proposed for their workflow to be more awesome. Its about time I have my own workflow transformed into a MORE awesome flow. Thank you @saje_sandhu ! I am excited how this can be a catalyst on how we create those html emails and web pages!
Awesome job! 😄
@iamjapupu The awesomeness of what you're describing can only be described as 'Awesome' :) We're excited to help put your mind to more meaningful work rather than unnecessary coding & designing. We have a feeling your efficiency is going to go through the roof!
