Knowing which skincare products to use is hard, and knowing whether they’re actually working is even harder. Clear lets you input the products you’re using, take progress pictures, and see what other people with skin like you are actually using.

@seema_banerjee Thank you!!

Really interesting idea. I just asked the "what do you use?" question to two friends as many people do. In my perfect world, this would merge with an app like Think Dirty to compare what's in the product as well. Some of my friends use ingredients I'm not a fan of.

@sarah_wright7 Thank you! Absolutely - depending on the person, ingredients can be one of the most important factors when it comes to a purchasing decision. We're working on building out an ingredient database linking to our products (currently, there's a product, people and posts search - we want to build out an ingredients search too, in which people can learn more about individual ingredients, and at a snapshot, see if a product contains something that could aggravate their skin).

Hey Hunters! I’m Ahana, and along with my co-founder Ben, I’m super excited to share Clear with you! We are making skincare social. 🤩 Clear is a mobile app that lets you track, share and compare your skincare routine - all skin types welcome. Knowing which products to use is hard, and knowing whether they’re actually working is even harder. Clear is solving this problem, and making skincare social in the process. Transparency is at the core of what we do, and as such, we think it’s important to share the whole story - especially when it comes to your skin. So, you will be able to see other people’s product logs, and they will be able to see yours. My acne really affected my confidence growing up. I have struggled for the last 5 years; now aged 21 and after countless hours spent educating myself on skincare (self-certified enthusiast here 🙋‍♀️), I know first-hand how daunting skincare can be. It’s hard to know which products to use in the first-place, and whether they’re actually working. 80% of people have suffered with acne at some point in their life, so I know I’m not alone. Clear lets you track and share your skincare routine. By inputting the products you’re using and taking progress pictures, you’re able to keep tabs on what is or isn’t working for you. Then, you can share your product recommendations, skincare routine, or even progress pictures with the Clear community. Want to find someone going through a similar skincare struggle to you? Our tags let you find other users on a similar skincare journey, and you can see what worked for them. Clear is here! Download Clear on iOS (and on Android later this week) for free! Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts on the platform directly with me or Ben. Clear app your skin today 😉

Thanks for the app! The idea behind it is really good because it lets us systemize all the reviews about a certain product and build up our own opinion. Hope that more and more people will get to use it, and we will have a big database of demonstrative reviews. It will make choosing a new skincare product so much easier! I will even tell about this app to https://www.vitalskinderm.com/lo.... Maybe, she will also advise Clear to her clients and make this app more popular. This is a nice way to make our lives easier; thank you again!
