This is the best new discovery I've made in a while. Have already made three hilarious slideshows and are addicted. Love!!
But please fix the 'add text' bug. As soon as you type any sort of "!.?...@" etc. the text line jumps back to the front of the sentence you're typing and you have to start over. Also I've had all the text I've added to a silde show get randomly wiped out while adding another slide or trying to hit the 'play' button. So yes, still some bugs to work out but keep going! I love the concept and bugs aside, have already enjoyed using it.
I've been looking for this type of thing for a while. It's a really nice idea. However, I found the platform isn't doing what I'd expect it to do!

@adibenhur Just when I typed in some words, they didn't appear on the slideshow. Also I wanted to add another slide and it started playing the slideshow. I also couldn't understand how to get two characters side by side. Hope this helps! Great idea!

Like idea but I couldn't do the trial recording (iPhone 5S) for my own drawing. Or maybe I could? There was a record button start something, but then nothing to stop it.
@otto_offringa thanks for using it! there's a "Done" button in the menu on the top right
@adibenhur Thanks. That early in the morming I must have been in a Don't Make Me Think mode. Still I wouldn't hide the Done button under the menu button.
Now I tried my drawing I really liked it. My only wish would be to play it back a bit slower. Maybe that's feature suggestion? That I can influence the speed of play?

The idea is awesome! But by all means - it should be in vector form. http://take.ms/DLCIP - pixelation is hurting my eyes.
Hi product hunters! Chalkmotion is still in a prototype phase I aim to keep the simplicity, and add features like adding multiple images per slide, exporting to gif, embedding in a webpage, stop motion animation loops, audio, collaboration tools and more... let me know what you'd like to use it for and what features would help the most!
@jamesvandyke thanks James, absolutely, I think of these drawings as building blocks so compositing together is essential!
thanks Jeff, I prefer to keep it as open as possible, registering allows you to edit your slideshows and use your saved drawings

I get the following error when trying to register via google:
400 Error: redirect_uri_mismatch
The redirect URI in the request, http://www.chalkmotion.com, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client.
Very cool. Storytelling is a tough thing to do, but getting your message across with images is so important because it takes multiple types of language expressions for people to understand your story.
