#1 Web & PDF Highlighter for moible and PC.
LINER is a web highlighter that helps you highlight texts on the internet. We help you filter out noisy content, so you can focus on key references. Sometimes you only need one sentence from a 100-page document.

LINER is a private web/PDF highlighter of text found anywhere on the web, in your saved Pocket and Instapaper articles, and in PDFs uploaded to LINER. You can even save your personal notes on the text you've highlighted via comments. LINER allows you to share your highlighted text with others and they can also insert Comments. Highlights and comments can also be exported to Evernote with links to original article.

I love this program, I've been looking for something similar for a long time, but haven't been able to find it until now. What I like best about Liner is that it allows you to highlight pages you're reading, and then will send you email reminders of what you've read later on. I also save all of my highlights in a folder to Evernote to see later. My saved highlights will also include a link to the article. Can't stop singing the praises of this app! I've been telling everyone I know who reads regularly to get it.

Even just yellow marker can help a lot in browsing the web, esp. when revisiting the web, I can easily find the mark quickly.

Best highlighter I found so far.

Interesting app does it sync with other platforms?

@chamchimeokja Yest it does! Highlights made on your desktop on the new MS Edge will automatically be saved on your mobile as well.

Feel like this could really help sorting things out the way I want without going through trouble of finding things on bookmark .. or even after that, where is the paragraph I need that i know i remeber seeing it somewhere... but i feel like this could ease out those annoying issues quite well.

Hi, I’m a PhD candidate living in Seoul. I’ve been using LINER for Chrome as a premium user. This is the best tool that I could find on the internet while doing some serious research projects. Thank you for this great product and keep up the good work team!

@cs_phd_yonsei Have you tried using https://hypothes.is ? If not, I firmly recommend it. It's based on W3C standards and is used by *many* schools and organisations. They have a special info page for researchers: https://web.hypothes.is/research/

@wcm0505 I like to read online and I was always looking for an app like yours. I wanted to annotate online and save it for later, but somehow I couldn't find any tools that could do that. Thanks a lot. one question, is there a mobile app for it too?

@wcm0505 Hi. Seeing this made me remember LINER for iOS so I redownloaded that to check it out. Why are all my recommended articles under the "Explore" tab circia 2018? Is there any way to update?
