I've been using Stitcher for years, not because it's a great app (the UX is a bit clumsy, imho) but it works and has content. Castro looks beautiful and the simple timeline view of my bookmarked podcasts, is really all I need.

Have any of you guys tried Swell? I've been using Swell for a few weeks and like the curator they have built in. If I choose a certain topic, it'll find podcasts that are curated to what I've listened to in the past. Castro seems interesting, it has a better UI/UX flow compared to Swell imo.

Hey folks! I've been using Castro for a few months now. I really love it. It's well designed and it works as intended. I found it a bit accidentally in an attempt to replace the native podcasts app on iPhone. I didn't switched back!

I've only used the default iOS Podcast app (which has improved a lot over the past year or two), what features in Castro have you found to be especially great? I love podcasts so I'm always happy to discover new apps/podcasts :)

This is a beautiful app. Hoping for a desktop version since I listen on my laptop pretty frequently. I've been using Downcast for that. The timeline view is a great feature.

@_shahedk downloading to check it out. Looks like it'll be good for discovery even though I'm inundated with podcasts to listen to as it is.

This is my favorite podcast app as well, though I'm eagerly awaiting Marco Arment's podcast app. @_shahedk Swell is good for discovery, but I couldn't get over their confusing UI. Has potential, though.

@ZacDavies I agree. They keep improving the app on a regular basis. Kudos to the dev team!

My absolute favourite podcast app, been using for months now. Solid updates persistence too.
