@andrewwarner Thanks Andrew! It's a bit like abandoned cart emails became a best practice over the last 5 years. If you don't email your abandoned carts, you don't recover that revenue. With post-purchase upsells, conversion on the checkout stays the same, but if you don't make those offers, you just leave that money on the table.

Thanks for hunting @hnshah ! Jordan here, CEO at CartHook. We built CartHook Post Purchase Offers to provide Shopify merchants a new way to make offers to their customers. Post-purchase offers are a new revenue channel for ecommerce merchants. They allow the merchant to make offers in between the checkout page and thank you page. There are two reasons these offers work so well: 1. The customer can accept very easily, with one-click, without having to re-enter any info since it simply reuses the shipping and payment info provided on the checkout page. 2. The merchant can make very relevant offers, since we allow offers to be based on the products and cart contents of the original checkout. Our checkout product processed $1.5 billion in payments, of which $185m was from post-purchase offers. That's a 12% bump in revenue by simply adding post-purchase offers :) Our new app, which launched yesterday, finally brings post-purchase offers directly into the native Shopify Checkout.
