Icebreakers 2.0 — Build stronger team relationships with fun Q&A on Slack

Hi everyone 👋, Ellen here (CEO/Co-founder of CareerLark). I'm really excited to share with you our Slack app Icebreakers! I love that this is now a product! It's a practice that we've used at Elliot because we are completely remote, but now we're going to jump on with Icebreakers. Another great product coming out of the Acceleprise family!

One of the challenges for me in working in a remote team is building that personal and authentic connection that enables us to work in a high-functioning way. Icebreakers has been awesome in helping my team build that human connection. Check it out!

This Icebreaker app seems pretty icy cool! ❄️ I’m going to use it on my oh so serious team to get everyone talking about fun topics while they work. Will let you all know whether I can break the ice.

Icebreakers makes your team more open with each other and it's a definitely great tool for freshman adaption. Saying it as a freshman :) The best part for me is that this app is a perfect mix of serious & fun. And if "serious" stuff you can always get about people during the working process, insights about their character, favoring and habits not as easy to know. I'm feeling kinda guilty by reviewing my colleagues' social network profiles while we do not even have a talk yet. It feels like spying for me, 'cause I respect privacy even in today's "you-could-find-anything-about-anyone-online" world. Icebreakers helps to remove these borders and make communication the way much easier

I'm exited how this app helps people to know each other. I remember this time, when I joined 150+ people company and only in one year I was able to tell some facts about some of team members. This app do it a few times faster. Really enjoy using Icebreakers!
