Hello ! I am César, an UX/UI designer, and the co-founder of Let Me Think! I can’t tell you how many hours I have lost getting distracted by my own phone! 😅 It made me mad to have to choose between either keeping my smartphone next to me while working and accept to get distracted, or hiding my smartphone in another room and possibly miss out on important messages/information. This was 2 years ago. Since then, we have done a year and a half of research, made dozens of prototypes and talked with hundreds of people to create Let Me Think and its totem. Today we are using this totem within our team, and a dozen beta testers are using it as well. It is a powerful tool! I would like to share with you how it works, and how it can help change the way we use our phones. When you want to work, you simply need to touch the totem with your phone to get access to your custom digital workspace. This workspace comes with a dark wallpaper, a brand-new interface, and you can only access to work-related apps. All the distracting ones, like Facebook or Instagram, are hidden. Then, one of the main reasons why I was keeping my phone along while I was working, was that I feared missing out on important information. This is why we developed a smart notification management system which enables you to receive only the most important notifications (for example emails from customers), and keep all the others for later. Then, when you are done working, you just need to touch the totem again. You will then have access to your normal phone. In addition, you are able to check your progress in terms of productivity, focus, and wellbeing. I hope this product will also get you excited. We are constantly trying to improve it. This is why we are also collaborating with researchers, and are attempting to build a world in which technologies are at our service, and not the other way around.
