The Capacities Mobile App is your note-taking companion when you're on the go. Access all your notes, quickly save important info, and create new content. If you're stuck, ask our integrated AI assistant (Pro-only). Works great together with the desktop app.

We're super happy to officially launch our mobile app. We put a lot of work into it, but it would not have turned like this without all the input and feedback from our users during the beta phase, so a huge thank-you! This launch is only the first step in the journey of our mobile app. We'll continue to develop it further and add exciting features and improvements over time. Our goal is to make it the perfect companion on the go, to make it strong around core mobile use cases—not necessarily to always reach feature parity with the desktop app. Stay tuned for what's next, let us know what you think, and feel free to share your ideas for the next steps of our mobile app! Cheers!

@mvhohnhorst Awesome! However, when I'm logged in on the Android app, the IOS app doesn't let me log in, saying: “Your current device configuration is not supported”. Is that a bug?🤔
Steffen Bleher
@mvhohnhorst @gyrusinczky The app is only available for phones at the moment. An iPad app is in development. I hope that helps.
Gyula Rusinczky
@steffen_bleher Thanks. That explains the issue I'm experiencing, but then how could I download the iPad app on my iPad Pro M1? Kinda confusing.🙄
@mvhohnhorst Great product. Does it open source?
Casey Newton

Impressive app from conceptual design (standard objects and ability to create new objects as well as change object types) and execution (very easy to input information, integration with messaging services, output to tasks etc.) I hope you find a minimal feature set for mobile app that keeps it as fast as current iteration. Keep up the excellent work!

Love this app! Been using the desktop version for several years now and the app for over a year. Moved everything over from Remnote. Use it daily.

The long-awaited mobile app! As soon as I tested it out I fell in love with its minimalistic yet fully functional UX/UI! Thanks @mvhohnhorst and the team for great work!

Top 10 Features I Love About the Capacities Mobile App 🚀 1️⃣ Responsive Experience: The app is highly responsive, user-friendly, and intuitive. Swipe gestures for navigating between the left side panel, Page/Object Content, and Search provide well-defined access to all essential tools. 🌟 2️⃣ AI Integration: AI is seamlessly integrated into the app, making it accessible anytime and anywhere. 🤖 3️⃣ Flexible AI Module: The AI module is highly flexible, keeping all open chats secure so users can revisit them later. Users can also choose their preferred GPT model, enhancing the app's versatility. 🔄 4️⃣ Daily Notes Navigation: With Daily Notes as a core feature, the app prioritizes this with a dedicated navigation button, allowing quick access to daily notes from any object. 📝 5️⃣ Innovative Calendar: The Calendar (Date+Time) feature is prominently placed. The top Calendar bar with horizontal scrolling offers a fresh perspective in the PKM world, outperforming industry trends. I suggest adding a pull-down gesture for a complete calendar view for added flexibility. 📅 6️⃣ Timeline Navigation: The Calendar module, with tabs showing 'DAILY NOTES' and 'ON THIS DAY,' makes it easy to access the timeline of our work and knowledge management flow. The clean UI and Date scroll bar enhance retrospective access. 🕰️ 7️⃣ Desktop-Mobile Sync: Understanding the need for multitasking, Capacities has a section for OPEN TABS on DESKTOP in the side navigation panel, streamlining workflows between devices. 💻📱 8️⃣ Intuitive Content Addition: Adding new content is intuitive with a minimal + button at the bottom access bar. The Quick Action panel has clear UI endpoints for New Page, New Object, or content types like a single photo, multiple photos, any other file type, or even the content of the clipboard. Imagine what a future widget for this could achieve! 🌠 9️⃣ Efficient Share Sheet: The Share Sheet allows quick actions for sharing content from the mobile's local storage, with options to choose the workspace and simple upload functionality. 📤 🔟Sync Conflict Resolution & User Control: Capacities is prioritizing Offline mode, enabling uninterrupted work during internet outages. Syncing is seamless, allowing users to choose which version to keep with a clear preview of each version. This flexibility is crucial for a smooth workflow between desktop and mobile devices. 📶 Thank you @mvhohnhorst @steffen_bleher for being the best dev team, I love how you engage with the users and prioritize their suggestions and requests with an open tracking system. I have never seen any company more transparent and engaging than this. Congratulations for this important launch and yet another milestone for developing the best Knowledge Management tool (Studio for mind).

Launching soon!
The biggest problem I have with notes is not being able to find the note I want. I forget what each note is about because I don't remember the content of the notes I took. However, it would be nice if I could write what I'm looking for when searching for a note and it gave the most relevant results accordingly🤔

The Capacities mobile app is such a life saver when it comes to work - I can check notes while commuting, and make sure I'm constantly learning. it's also helped me to keep on top of all new ideas I have at random times throughout the day

Very awesome app. I'm very happy to have found Capacities after trying other popular apps which didn't meet my expectations. Also, I don't like following the same as everyone just for popularity, I am not just another sheep of the flock. I love unique stuff!
Michael von Hohnhorst
@nelson_lopez Thanks for the feedback, Nelson!

Love this app as my main inbox and organizing system for my home and work life. Streamlined interface. Developers are always working hard behind the scenes to keep adding and updating Capacities. Great stuff!

Awesome job! After using the web app for the last year+ I just tried the Android App and it works very well. Thanks for continuing to offer a great, streamlined user experience. Capacities provides the flexibility and power of similar tools but with a much easier to understand workflow out of the box. Daily Notes, Projects, Contacts, Pages, backlinks...it's all there.

Having a mobile version with all my info available is just amazing. The app takes just a little getting used to but having the objects and properties captured enables you to build a great workflow with what is important. The maturity of this app already is fantastic, and with a great development team behind it, can't wait to see where it goes. Capacities was already the most capable notes and pkm app out there, now it's even better!

I've used the app for over a year now, and it was good from the beginning, but now it's a really great mobile app. Thanks for all the work you put into Capacities - desktop, web app, mobile app, you've made my life easier - and more colorful. Also - the AI feature is really terrific! I love how easy it is to use on the app.

For a young app, Capacities is excellent, already outshining many aspects of rival note-taking apps. As a mental health researcher, artist and storyteller with dyslexia (irony), I have relied on Logseq and Notion for many years, so I struggled to let go of these apps and transfer over to Capacities. Still, I am happy that I am in the process of doing so. Some people say it is the notion/obsidian baby, but I do not think that is accurate. It is more Logseq and Notions, baby. You can edit inside backlinks (logseq, not Obsidian); there are not thousands of plugins you have to add and manage. It is a visual tool if you want it to be or not if you do not wish to it visual. The speed and efficiency of updates and big new app additions are amazing (Logseq has gone quiet for a long time). Sure, there are some bugs, but the team is working on them as soon as possible. The mobile app is a delight—smooth and clean. I would like to see the voice-to-text input improve a little, but it is good enough for now. It loads fast and displays everything (unlike Logseq/Obsidian). It took a bit of a mental shift as the "object-based" notetaking was/is a new concept for me, but now I am enjoying this approach logically simpler and better. There are a couple of things I would like to see added to the mobile as anyone else would, but for an early version of the app, this is by far above excellent, with a clear road map for the future. Overall, this upgrade or pro version of the app is worth its cost (which is a big thing to say when you previously used Logseq and Notion for free). I want to be able to customise my app a little more, though background and internal and external link colours would be great.
