Campfire helps remote teams have actually fun virtual socials. Come hangout & play with your team in a multiplayer game world that’s updated weekly with new activities!
We've been using this for over a month now for Friday hangouts and a short "watercooler" meeting each week. It's been great fun and adds a new dimension to the casual team chats!
Congrats on the launch @siamakfr and team!
Sync and async is a tough balance, but if there is one thing extremely hard to do without being in the ~same room, it's bonding.
Retreats IRL are great but not frequent enough, and now tools like Campfire fill the gap when you can't meet, it's awesome to see so much creativity in this space!
we've been using Campfire for a few months now here at Freshpaint. our team is fully remote, and we love the change of pace it gives us. the games/activities change weekly, which is great for me as a founder - i don't have to spend as much time planning team building activities
At LiveKit, we'd been looking for something fun and casual to help strengthen the emotional bonds within our remote team. Campfire offers a captivating shared experience for us to connect without feeling cumbersome or requiring deep investment. Amazing product!
Campfire is a lot of fun! It is without a doubt the most fun I've ever had on a sales call lol.
Highly recommend checking it out if you have a remote team, beats the heck out of awkward zooms.
Campfire is awesome, we tried it last week at Basedash. Feels like a really strong foundation for being able to integrate games into.
Excited to see what you add next!
Most people by now know the awkward zoom work hangouts where everyone kind of stares at each other or maybe just one or two people talk.
The first time I used Campfire it was so obviously significantly better than that experience. There were multiple conversations that could happen that didn't feel forced. There were games to play which everyone had fun with. It just felt more like hanging out with people than any remote tool I've ever used.
Thanks @mwseibel- I’m Siamak from Campfire 🪵🔥 & we’re helping remote teams have actually fun virtual socials!
🟥 By now, we’ve all been in a work Zoom “social” where every second felt like a lifetime and you just couldn’t wait to hit that big read Leave button.
😥 Remote team socials suck & teams are having a hard time finding fun things to do together online to feel connected.
🎲 We solve this by giving teams a multiplayer game world that’s constantly updated with new games and activities for socials like happy hours and watercooler chats.
💻 We’re live in early release with Netflix, Lattice, Github and 30+ more leading remote and hybrid companies!
🔨 I’m a 2x metaverse founder (first co was a multiplayer AR startup). Before that I worked at Peloton and Microsoft. My co-founder, Sina, was a growth PM @ SaaS unicorn League. Our first engineer is an ex senior eng from Snapchat & Amazon.
👀 We want to make remote work less isolating, and beyond that, to offer a more fulfilling way for people to communicate & share experiences while physically apart.
I've had a great time so far on Campfire ! A great balance of fun games with socializing, you've done a great job to make sure the personal element is there with each person's vid. I look forward to more sessions!
We use Campfire at Canix - it really makes remote Happy Hours actually fun, and not just painful. We've tried several products to purpose to this, but Campfire is the only one that's actually delivered
We run a fully remote team at Hyperbeam, and one thing we've struggled with is building a fun remote work environment for our employees. We used to have weekly all-hands but they often felt forced. Campfire seems like a great way to bring the team together in a natural, fun way. Great work!
Campfire is super fun! Having a playground to be in with your co-workers in a remote environment is so much more interesting than Zoom or other tools. Remote cultures are hard to build and I'm grateful people are trying to create tools to help companies transition from offices to global collaboration.
We have 40 people across 10 countries. The culture of work is changing and it's so exciting!
