When you live across the world, finding a time to talk – whether it’s about work, the weather or the weekend – can be a logistical challenge. We wanted to find a way to take the hassle out of figuring out time zones and constantly calculating time differences.

Great app , anyone come across any awesome web app or extension that does the job ?
Adrian Le Bas
This looks and works great! Definitely a keeper :) only thing I noticed weird ( maybe there's a good reason for it), Amsterdam is shortened as "ATD" instead of the usual "AMS", not to be confused with "ADT" (Atlantic daytime)!

@adrianleb Thanks we'll look into this.
Jorge Mir Alvarez
@mkjlw @adrianleb I think what would be awesome is if users were able to input their own three-letter abbreviation. The chosen ones for Madrid (MDR) and Chicago (CCG) seem a bit strange.

Anyone else thought 'Beats by Dre' built it? ;). Miranda out – Klok in.
Luca Carlucci
Very cool, well done. Already on my phone!
Mark Law
@gehnibo Happy you like it! :)
Pieter Walraven
Congrats on the launch @honcheng & @mkjlw 😄 What's your vision for this product? What kind of features can we expect in the near and longer-term future?
Mark Law
@pieterpaul Thanks!! We have a lot of ideas at the moment but we’ll be careful not to add too much too quickly. The new update will have improvements and a small feature update ;)
honcheng
@pieterpaul thanks!
Ouriel Ohayon
love it. i must have/have tried most of the best apps to do this (including timebuddy) but this may be the most convenient to use on the go
Nick Zieber
I have been wanting something like this. Looks great!

Cool app! Tel Aviv is "TLV", not "TAV". Tip, use the international airport codes.
Jorge Mir Alvarez
@nicolasegosum I don't think this would work because a lot of cities have more than one airport. User input seems reasonable to me
Martin Kessler
Thanks. Time zones have been driving me crazy for ages. What inspired you to build this widget?
Nav Pawera
@kesslerio clients in different time zones and also a bunch of us here in the office are expats with friends/family all over the globe :-)
Edward Woodcock
Just installed it. Exactly what I need - nice one!
Mark Law
@iamfledge Glad you like it!

Nice little app. With the iphone 5 screen the analogue and digital clocks are a little small in my opinion (but maybe you had design constraints here). Well done though and very useful. This should have been an ios feature.
meiwin
Love the icon design, really well done.
Mark Law
@meiwin Thanks! It was fun to design the icon.
Pieter Walraven
@mkjlw @meiwin it's one of those really nice 'when you see it' icons. Well done!

Perth, Australia is wrong. It is showing up as UTC+10 (AEST), same as Sydney. It is actually UTC+8 (AWST), 2 hours earlier.
Ignacio Martín
Beautiful design and its just super convenient to make it available as a widget. Great job!
Rizwan
Super cool design and works smoothly. Kudos to the team members. I already suggested this app to my co-workers
Mark Law
@rizzu26 Thanks so much! Glad you like it!!

Launching soon!
Hey! Really nice widget/app!! Love it! Madrid is shortened as MDR which is confusing. Usually it's shortened as MAD (also airport code for Madrid). Any chance you could incorporate this change in a future release? @mkjlw @honcheng
Rollo Wenlock
Would be useful if you could action on the times. Meetings etc. am I missing something?
Kien Tran
Really like the app icon and the widget design, especially when the iOS World Clock doesn't have a widget (yet).
honcheng
@thkeen love the icon
Scott Ng
The widget looks amazing!
Mark Law
@ngszekiat Thanks Scott. Glad you like it! :)
Adam Marx
This is so super simple, but something I would have killed for years ago when I was doing journalism full-time and need to keep up with contacts around the world. Even more useful now, great design.
