Literally in the market right now, furnishing a new home. Likely getting a Casper, and hunting a couch - so far Joybird and Article in the lead but definitely more expensive. - Concern: Design matters quite a bit on a purchase like this and the site's design leaves a little to be desired - What's in the cushions? Foam weight? - Measurements? Seat depth?

Email me at stephen@hiburrow.com. Cushions have a high-density foam core with pillow-top-and-bottom. I herniated two discs rowing in college so needed to build something that would be comfortable and supportive for hours on end. 3-seater is 83" x 32" x 27" and the seat depth is 22".

@tschellenbach Is it JUST a couch? Or is the center of your living room? Once you have your sofa, it becomes the center of all the action, yet couches typically feel more like stubborn baggage than an easy wingman. They're either cheap and flimsy, or heavy and expensive, and inevitably won’t fit into your next space. But without a sofa, your house is not a home, and your living room has no life. Burrow is the life of the party and your support after a long day. So is it REALLY just a couch? You tell me.

DO NOT GET THIS COUCH! The idea is wonderful and tempting- that's why we got it. However, in set up and use, this couch is a HUGE disappointment. They said it would arrive in 2 weeks, it took 6. We asked for money back, they said they'd give us $100 back ($50 at first) and again, 6 weeks later and nothing. When we got the couch, we had missing parts and couldn't put the couch together properly. In early Dec, they said they'd send the new part and guess what? IT'S STILL NOT HERE! Then, the cushions... UGH! They're showing signs of wear after only a few weeks! What?!? Sunken and dented cushions that don't return to their original shape. Just awful! Avoid this couch! Repeat, do NOT get this couch. Save your money for a more reputable co. Very disappointed. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

False advertising, poor quality, missing parts, and poor costumer service.

Absolutely love the idea, especially as a dog owner, frequent spiller, and NYC dweller ;-) Couple of questions: 1) are there slipcovers? 2) are there plans to offer an ottoman expansion to turn it into an L-shaped sofa?

@8bitkid No slip covers but the cushion fabrics are removable and washable. We will offer an ottoman that connects to the sofa to create a sectional. That should come out later this year or early next year.

The 'spill proof' gifs are not good marketing, how often is my couch at a 45 degree angle? Your potential customers will see through that "feature" very quickly.

@alancassinelli @professorz it's tough to show the whole process of how stains get out easily in a gif. These show how most of the liquid literally bounces off. More videos and gifs to come soon showing all sorts of weight and liquid tests!

@stephen_kuhl okay, I see there's usb chargers. Other than that - it's easy for you to ship & for me to assemble - but that's not a reason to buy/own a thing. I'd love to be stoked on it, really, but a plug and the fabric alone isn't doing it for me.

@elizabethhunker AFAIK the sprays wear off easily, discolor materials, and are very unimpressive in real world usage (anything longer than a youtube video or GIF). I hope/assume this treatment is more durable.

LOVE the product. Congrats @stephen_kuhl on the launch! If you've ever bought a sofa, you know how much it sucks. So glad somebody is tackling this problem. 10 minute assembly and cheaper price.....almost sounds too good to be true! what are the next steps for you guys after you ship your first sofas?

Sold. You just ended our 6-month search for the right sofa... 🙏 Never thought this day would come! One comment: I'd love to see more photos of the other colors on the website. I'm sure that's in the works, but I am always so skeptical of ordering furniture online because the color is never accurate. It'd be great to have more of those beautiful photos to show off the other colors in realistic lighting!

@nelson_keating We're building up inventory now and have already filled up the orders we can ship this month and next. There's a chance we can ship more end of September, but we don't want to overpromise like a lot of early-stage companies do. October is the latest you'll get it if you order now. It takes time to make high-quality furniture!
