Hey Product Hunters, 👋! I have been working in the SEO industry since 2010. Some of that time I spent as an SEO consultant. Countless times, I’ve seen this standard scenario: A website owner does decent keyword research. Publishes relevant, high-quality content. Invests in link-building... ...and waits for traffic from Google. Waits... Waits... Waits... Why is this process so long and tiring? It’s simple: they’re doing what everybody else does. How can we expect to be leaders in the SERP if we’re just following the standard playbook? Don’t get me wrong. You can get great results with a standard approach. In case you’re working with a domain that has a 90 DR. But what if you’re not so lucky? I won’t promise you a magic pill. SEO is tough. But I do offer a solid addition to the basics that could increase your chances of ranking better. Here it is: Do competitor research to truly understand what kinds of sites Google prefers to show in the top 10. And use Buddler’s SERP Analyzer to streamline the process! There are many ways you can use the tool, and I’m confident seasoned SEOs will find some I have not imagined myself. Here are just a couple of examples: 1. Take a look at the dashboard and see which elements are the most common. Maybe it’s a Schema.org element or a specific topic in the content summary? It’s usually a good idea to make sure your page includes it too. 2. Find the competitor with the lowest KeyRel score. They probably rank due to other factors, such as providing something users highly value. Can you offer the same and combine it with better text optimization? If so, you have a great chance to win the competition. All of this is super easy with Buddler’s SERP Analyzer. So make it a habit to figure out ways to outsmart the competition!

Wish you best luck with your launch! Is your tool designed for SEO specialists or just anyone can use it?
Anastasia Pogodina
@dmitry_bergelson thank you, Dmitry! SEO expertise would be a plus, of course, but we aimed to keep the balance between informativeness and simplicity in usage so that anyone could benefit from our tool :)

💡 Bright idea
Looks great, definitely a powerful tool! I have a few questions for you: — Since Google removed the cache operator, how can we now verify that all the content on a page actually contributes to ranking and isn't just sitting in the index? Do you have any ideas for alternative methods, like checking shingles for direct inclusion in the search results or something else? — Is it possible to track changes in the main content of the top 10 over time? It would be really useful to see exactly what competitors are editing, how snippets are changing, and how this affects their rankings. — Since you're parsing page content, is it possible to estimate how much effort was put into writing the text? Does it contain reliable facts, or is it just another generic piece? This would help us understand how deeply we need to develop our content to outperform competitors. — Is there a way to check for cloaking? In complex niches, it's often the case that competitors show one text to search engines and another to real users. I'm curious if this can be detected using your tool. — What technologies and databases are you using? I assume there will be a lot of data from users. I'm interested to know how you handle such large volumes of information. Overall, the tool is impressive, looking forward to your response!

@seo_spb Thank you for your questions and ideas! Yes, we are working on the next versions of the SERP analyzer and are planning to include some similar features. - Google removed the cache operator, which has indeed made it more challenging to analyze how Google views content. We do have ideas for checking parts of content for inclusion in search results, but these are not our top priority at the moment. - Tracking changes in the content of competitors’ pages in the top 10 is planned, but this will be based on another tool called "Monitoring." - A more in-depth analysis of content in the top 10 is scheduled for the next version of the SERP analyzer, which will allow you to understand how much effort has been put into it and to draw your conclusions on how to build your content strategy. - There is a way to check pages for cloaking, and we have ideas for its implementation, but this is also not a top priority right now. - We use a complex microservice architecture with different types of databases for various tasks and data processing types, as well as multiple integrations for solving a chain of tasks and different types of queues to achieve the final result. Since the products are currently in the patenting stage, I can’t go into too much detail, but I can't imagine that similar tools could be implemented as a home project in Python. Our team has more than 10 developers and SEO analysts, and the result of our work is a coordinated effort and a shared desire to create the best tool in the world for finding personalized growth opportunities and turning them into quick results for SEO specialists. Thank you for your feedback, we are always happy to help!

it's really good app!
Intriguing ) Next step I'd like to have AI-Trudov to give insights on top of SERP analysis. Like this one here '2. Find the competitor with the lowest KeyRel score. They probably rank due to other factors, such as providing something users highly value. Can you offer the same and combine it with better text optimization? If so, you have a great chance to win the competition.'
Liz Voronina
@alexander_noskov You can already find competitors with the lowest KeyRel score in our dashboard. We are working on the next version, which will include a detailed analysis of each page and competitor's KeyRel separately, so that you get even more insights.

Super easy tool to check who’s ranking for any keyword. The best part is that it even counts the text length, does the markup analysis and gives you a quick summary of each page. I mean, who doesn’t love it when AI does the boring work for you?
