Whilst the idea is good of having such a list to help spread the OSS β€οΈ, the execution is poor. I understand this is a marketing stunt for your product, which is listed within several categories, on its own, like there were no other alternatives (e.g. live-chat, alternative to drift, etc), and yet, your product does not even show a single line of code (or did I miss it?) and the link to github is not working. For someone like you who is in the OSS space, I am sure you are aware of all those other alternatives. π
e.g. Live-chat:

LiveHelperChat - https://livehelperchat.com/

This is super helpful for founders/startups just starting out and need help with SaaS tools!! congrats! hey, @deeptivchopra would love to include https://Poppins.me on the tool list, it is a free Slack app that helps users capture messages and convert them into tasks and track them, right inside Slack. Teams love Poppins and we were featured as the #1 brilliant bot and new & noteworthy "Productivity" tool on the Slack app directory. happy to connect and share more.
Hello!
We've benefitted heavily from open-source software created by the OSS community. In a small effort to give back, we've curated top open source alternatives to popular tools.
We've tried to only include projects that are actively maintained, and have a user-friendly documentation.
@deeptivchopra Nice list. I noticed you're missing software development tools (I guess most of them are open source already) but also there are a few empty categories.
Is this list open source? E.g. can you build it as an XML/JSON/YAML in github and let people submit PRs to it?
Wow, this is an awesome list! Thanks for putting it together π

Nice curation!
And just spotted that you're building btw. Pretty sure I signed up for early access. Was going to ask when that's launching, but see from your about page it's soon.
Best of luck with that launch.
Amazing curation. Super helpful for startups that want to adopt OSS and build a stack of their own. Bookmarked this. Congrats @deeptivchopra@sidgunti !
An absolute to not miss list. Great job curating all these tools out of which most go unseen by many.
How would you plan to make this list sustainable and up-to-date?
Open source will dominate in the long run. Good to see tools like this to help us get there. As @Shai Almog asks: is this list itself open source? A related quesion: is there any way of submitting tools (not already on the list) for consideration?
great list for startups that have no-budget for software or apps but need to be efficient and grow fast!!! I'm missing some other information like overall score from users or number of running installations... but for me it's priceless info right now... THANKS!!
