@rrhoover excellent point, we actually want to be part of hastening that process of commoditization. To drive it to the point where it's not only convenient but trivially cheap to setup a call with dozens of participants across the globe. Right now conference calling is painful with PINs, dial ins and eye watering rates. We believe our 'dial-out' approach where we dial everyone into the call is the way telephony should be. We operate on razor thin margins and we're happy doing that. We also offer a far better user experience which in our opinion is leagues ahead of anyone else. That admittedly can be copied but our defensibility is that we're willing to go price and feature wise where we think our competitors won't.

@mickc79 thanks for the question. We believe there's room in the market for improvement. PINS as easy as they might be are still a friction point and only one of many which we've buffed away at to produce a product which is where telephony should be in 2018. Our rates are local whether you're dialling the UK, the US or anywhere in the EU (between 1.5¢ to 4¢/min most countries). So if you're in need of making international conferences or want a better user experience then give Brring a try. edit: as an aside, love the concept behind SongBox.Rocks 👍 tough making it as a musician and really dig tools which help indie artists especially.
