Hey all, We've been working on Bright for the past few years in Sydney, Australia and are keen to start sharing our work with everyone. We think before Bright launches on the App Store we need to cross a really high threshold of accuracy, precision and general build quality. Our purpose for Bright is to be the last health app you need. We bring together all the health trackers available today and natively provide them in one platform. You can integrate your wearable and in the future, you'll be able to import data from other apps to kickstart your experience. To help fix any issues now, we're releasing Early Access for A$49 and with it, Lifetime Access to Bright. There are only a few limited spots available so get in while you can. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks :)

@deshraj_singh thank you! Planning on integrating all the wearables that's needed + importing data from pre-existing apps to make it seamless for users to change over!

@bryan_jordan props for working on an important problem. I definitely use some of the health trackers and I enjoy the big vision. More first impression thoughts here:
Bryan Jordan
@frank_denbow amazing! Will watch now, thanks :)

Love the design! What would you say is unique with your product vs the competition? Besides being a multi faceted health app.
Bryan Jordan
@sentry_co thanks! We have a commitment to be the last health app you need so we plan on evolving Bright from a lifestyle focus to one that's clinical!
André J
@bryan_jordan That's a great ambition to have. But we all know customers only switch from what they use today to something new like Bright, if they can clearly understand what makes your app different. So my question remains. Why should I switch from the built in health app that apple provides to bright?
Bryan Jordan
@sentry_co why pay for 10 different subscriptions when you can pay for one?
André J
@bryan_jordan Fair enough. Im unable to understand what bright has that the native apple health app doesn't have? If it really replaces 10 apps, It would be beneficial to see a compare chart with competitors. So that customers can easily understand why they should adopt Bright. It's not easy to understand why from the website alone.

I bought it, but I'm not impressed. My first impression is that it's Apple Health with recipes. It seems largely redundant to Apple Health and device-specific apps like Oura, Withings, etc, so I don't really see myself using it. Can I get a refund?
Brad S Konia
Here's the response I received from the Bright team: ------------------------------------------------- Hey Brad, KJ from the Bright team here. Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds based on a change of mind. If you've bought the early access version for TestFlight, you will have lifetime access to Bright. In the coming days, we will be fixing any issues or problems you may have encountered. The app will receive feature updates up till our official launch in June. This includes features like recovery, stress, and exertion scores. You can find out all about our future releases on our roadmap here -> https://roadmap.thebrightapp.xyz... Do let me know if you have any further questions! Cheers KJ ------------------------------------------------- I'm shocked by this response. In this day and age, you rarely come across a software company that refuses to refund, particularly in a situation where they can easily disable the app by removing the customer's access in TestFlight. Also, my reason for requesting a refund was not because I simply "changed my mind". It was because the app failed to meet my expectations. Their assurances that they will fix whatever issues I encountered completely misses the point. Fundamentally, I don't see the point of this app. One may question why I purchased an app for which I didn't see the point, but\ without trying it out first, you have no way of knowing what its capabilities are. BUYER BEWARE!

It's exciting to hear about Bright, and the comprehensive approach you're taking to health tracking! Offering everything in one platform could indeed make it the last health app anyone needs. Best of luck with your early access launch—it sounds like a great opportunity for users to get involved and shape the future of Bright. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
Bryan Jordan
@copyfrog thank you very much!
Greg Coakley
Are you planning a Professional version? As a health and wellness professional, I believe this would be a great app for me to use for my clients.
Bryan Jordan
@kingdomfitness will be enabling a client like interface in the coming months so clients can stream their data to a professional!
Greg Coakley
@bryan_jordan, that's excellent. Please keep us in mind as you move forward. We would love to have an app like this for our business.
Hey Byan, congrats on the launch 🚀 As a fellow Australian founder I feel compelled to give you support 🙂 Do you use AI to make meal analysis easier for Bright users?
Bryan Jordan
@jgani thanks for your message! We use an in-house machine learning model to generate over 100m nutrition profiles + in the future we'd like to further leverage ML to create more hyper-personalised guidance and eventually accredited medical support.
Brady Dowling
I love the idea of bringing all this into one place! The main barrier I've had with calorie counters and meal trackers has been the tedium and time it takes to input stuff, find it from a list, etc. Voice entry could really be a game changer for something like this. Is that supported right now?
Bryan Jordan
@bradydowling yes agreed, this is realistically the fastest way. I expect we’ll be supporting this in the coming weeks once all the core user flows are stabilised.
Maxime Vaskelis
I wanted to get on the early release, but I can't understand if this will be for android. Didn't see this on the roadmap either! Overall, great concept and I am very interested.
Bryan Jordan
@getedwix android will be available by end of the year!
Lucien Dubois
@getedwix +1, will it be available for Android users ?
Anna Filou
It looks really sleep, but I’m not sure why I don’t want to use something like this. From what I understand, it syncs with wearables and other apps, and simply shows you all the information in one place. So if I have a WHOOP wearable and track my meals in myfitnesspal, I’ll be able to view information from both in Bright instead of having to open each app individually. That doesn’t sound that valuable though… Am I missing something?
Ace Apolonio
@anna_0x I think right now it just pulls data from other apps but in the future they plan to track them as well using their own app.
iNilay
No product demo. Just a few screenshots, so you guys didn’t even care to make prototype before asking someone to 29.99 per month and 299 per year subscription cost but if I subscribe for early access It’s $49 lifetime. There are bunch of health data aggregators available now, some free and some at cost but nothing new.
Bryant.Chen
Hello, Bryan! Congrats on the launch of your product. It's a fantastic idea. Frankly, I've had similar needs and ideas before. Additionally, I'd like to inquire about which wearable devices your product currently supports. Is it only available to the Apple Watch?
Bryan Jordan
@bryantchen hey thanks for your message! Currently works with anything connected to Apple Health. We’ll be integrating direct connections with Whoop, Garmin, Fitbit etc in the following weeks.
Harsh Kang
After I left Facebook, this was one of the ideas I was exploring building- it was primarily targeted towards athletes, coaches and teams. Glad to see y'all bring your idea to life. Who's your target audience/market @bryan_jordan
Bryan Jordan
@harsh_kang Thank you very much! Initial target market = health professionals; either those with certifications or they priortise health as the single-most important aspect of their life. Once we get their tick of approval, we believe that validates the product to then generally market it to the everyday user. We want to be the last health app you need but first need to make sure we're technically correct, and then expand accessibility.

Thank you for sharing your pitch for Bright! It’s exciting to hear about your work in the health app space. Let’s dive into the details. Health App Integration: You mentioned that Bright brings together various health trackers into a single platform. Could you elaborate on the specific types of health data that users can track within Bright? Are we talking about fitness metrics, sleep patterns, nutrition, or something else? 🤔 Wearable Integration: Integrating wearables is crucial for a comprehensive health app. Which wearables does Bright currently support? And do you have plans to expand compatibility to include more devices in the future? 🌟 Data Import from Other Apps: The ability to import data from other apps sounds promising. Could you provide examples of the types of apps from which users can import data? Additionally, how do you ensure data accuracy and consistency when importing from different sources? 📊 Early Access and Lifetime Access: Offering Early Access at A$49 with Lifetime Access is an intriguing proposition. What additional benefits do Early Access users receive beyond the general release? And how do you plan to maintain the quality and accuracy of the app during this phase? 🚀 Feel free to share more details—I’m eager to learn about the unique features and innovations that set Bright apart! 😊
Bryan Jordan
@dadtoor thanks for your message! We enable activity/energy tracking, sleep stage data, meal logging and heart monitoring statistics like HRV, RHR etc. We support anything that's can be currently integrated with Apple Health eg. Apple Watch, Whoop, Garmin etc. We'll be creating direct integrations in the future. Users can import data from MyFitnessPal, MacroFactor, Cronometer and LoseIt.
Giacomo Bretel-De Simone
Pretty cool idea, looking forward to test it! I hope it connects to smart devices like Garmin watches :)
Bryan Jordan
@french_ninja thanks! Currently connects to Apple Health but will in the next few weeks/before App Store release we'll be creating direct links with Garmin, Whoop, Fitbit, Oura etc.

@Bright is an absolute game-changer in the realm of health management. This super app seamlessly integrates a plethora of health-related features, making it a one-stop solution for all your wellness needs. First off, the user interface is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze even for those less tech-savvy. With Bright, you not only track physical activity but also gain access to personalized workout plans tailored to your fitness level and goals. The nutrition feature is equally impressive, offering meal planning tools, calorie tracking, and even healthy recipe suggestions based on your dietary preferences. But what sets Bright apart is its focus on mental well-being. The app provides mindfulness exercises, guided meditation sessions, and stress management tools to help users achieve a balanced lifestyle. Great app, UI design is amazing, Congratulations @bryan_jordan @jayden_matthews @kean_jzun_khoo and team
Bryan Jordan
@jayden_matthews @kean_jzun_khoo @rohit8x Thank you so much! Means a lot, have been working on this for a while!
Kees Suijkerbuijk
Curious about the final product. And for now I’ll accept your kind gesture to get lifetime access for a discounted price. Something more new products and services on PH should embrace.
Bryan Jordan
@suijkerwerk thank you! Still have a bit to go to finalise the launch version of Bright but I think Lifetime Access in exchange for helping debug Bright is a fair trade.
Oleksandra Vasiukhnyk
Bright packs a punch by combining health monitoring and nutrition analysis all in one app—super handy for health enthusiasts. Does the app personalize nutrition plans based on dietary preferences and restrictions?
Bryan Jordan
@oleksandra_vasiukhnyk hey yes it does! We make sure each user is recommended what best suits their lifestyle/health preferences!
