I’m Archisman, co-founder of Brew Money, a self-custody wallet that makes it simple to earn yield on your crypto with Decentralized Finance. We had been working on Brew for a while now, and as our team grew, we felt the need for an onboarding guide that helps new team members get familiar with DeFi.
DeFi101 - An Introduction to Decentralized Finance is our attempt to bring that guide to everyone. DeFi is an incredibly interesting phenomenon. A trustless and permissionless system that anyone with a cryptocurrency wallet can access and avail of financial services is nothing short of revolutionary. However, in its current form, it is fairly complex.
With DeFi101, we hope to demystify some of the core concepts. It is a collection of 10 chapters. Each chapter is a 5-7 minute read and covers topics ranging from how lending and borrowing work in DeFi to the different risks one should be aware of.
