I've listened to podcasts since Diggnation was audio-only. I've used every player out there. Breaker is evolved, complete and commercial-free. You're not going to regret giving Breaker a try.

I don't have anything against this app (I've never used it), but I do have something against their marketing practices. PH users should be aware they're using earn.com to buy upvotes on this post.

Makers of this product are buying upvotes, very disappointing.

I like to take notes on podcasts and save episodes that are particularly thought-provoking. The 'like' is such a simple feature that I didn't find in any other podcast app.

Pros:

Ability to like episodes (which shortlists them for you), quick to fix bugs and capture feedback.

Cons:

Playback sometimes buggy but not as bad as Overcast.fm

I like the new take of Breaker to Podcast listening, this definitely has some potential.

Pros:

Smart speed playback is close to the quality in the Overcast app. Also, social aspect of commenting and liking an episode is good.

Cons:

I cannot import my feed from Overcast, Breaker is not is able to capture all my subscriptions so I can't fully use it yet.

Didn't upvote Breaker because of the earn.com thing. Not cool trying to buy the illusion of popularity.

Until I found Breaker I used to listen to songs (most of the time same popular songs) during evening walk and commute. But now, I have been listening to Breaker for six months and it has been getting magnificent with every update. Keep it up! :)
