I have tested it by uploading two different .AI files coming from Freepik.com stock image library, but I only get a "File Not Supported" error message. There are already plenty of image converters and utilities pre-installed on any OS to do simple format conversions. The value for me was that it would take (as it says on its page) Illustrator files and convert to common bitmap file formats, but I wasn't able to make this feature work.

I've always had to use a number of different sites to convert files and manipulate images — Workbench is a free and reliable alternative to those sites, offering a number of additional tools that I usually thought would require a paid subscription (i.e. auto-tagging images, extract text, color palette). This is a must-have for marketers and designers alike — give it a try!

I find it a real chore to open up Photoshop every time I need to resize or convert an image. Workbench is a definite time saver!

Finally! A non-sketchy place to quickly convert and extract metadata from files.

I've always had to use sketchy 3rd party sites found on Google to do this stuff, but now there's a one stop shop for all of it.
