1 in 3 adults lives with multiple chronic conditions. Brain Dump leverages the power of Notion to make their lives easier, tracking ten dimensions of life with chronic illness.
Hi everyone!
My name is Lauren, and I’m a Notion creator aiming to live the most productive life possible with chronic illness. I started using Notion to keep track of my symptoms, appointments, and medical expenses and quickly fell in love with the versatility Notion offered for tracking my condition.
I’ve always wanted to create something with a positive impact for people struggling with chronic illness, and Brain Dump is my answer to that call. What was once a personal Notion tracker became a holy grail for anyone living with chronic illness - in particular, anyone grappling with multiple conditions. Most medical trackers only address one condition; in contrast, Brain Dump leverages the power of Notion to track multiple conditions with limitless opportunities for customization.
BD is the product of a lifetime with chronic illness and of a lot of heart, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. If you’re part of the community, I would love your support and feedback. And if you’re someone wondering what you can do for a loved one with chronic illness, consider gifting it to show a little extra love to them this week!
Wanted to also say a huge thank you to @benln for hunting - I really appreciate your support and your belief in Brain Dump more than I can say. Happy hunting and looking forward to connecting!
How are you? Congratulations on the launch of Brain Dump on the Product Hunt! 😊 Looks interesting. I haven't seen something like this before. I've only got a single question. How did you come up with this idea?
@denis_galka Hi Denis! Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it! I came up with this idea after almost two decades of struggling with chronic illness and finding that the trackers out there didn't have many options for customization, despite the fact that everyone's experience with chronic illness is vastly different. Finding Notion + its capacity for limitless customization totally changed the game for me!
Greetings developers ? Congrats on the launch of your project on PH! 😊 It looks fantastic! I'm going to give this product a shot. I just wanna ask you a thing. How many users you have so far?
@alexey_yar Hey Alexey! Thanks for the congrats :) I designed the tracker to be used for the majority of chronic illnesses, but with a focus on conditions that place a heavy emphasis on trigger prediction. By that, I mean conditions like migraine, endometriosis, lupus etc where one of the biggest paths to treatment is understanding and tracking your triggers to prevent flare-ups. I designed the user flow by thinking of what aspects are most important to me when managing my condition: urgent To-Dos, Symptom Tracking, and Upcoming Appointments at the beginning of the user flow followed by items that are usually slightly lower down in the priority list.
@mycelebs_elle Thanks Elisabeth! I hope you stay healthy and never have to use Brain Dump lol :) If you have any friends who you think could benefit though, would appreciate any support!
