I bought these, they don't work. You need to have the headphones really close to the phone at all times and they still cut off. + it took me 6-8 weeks to get the refund after returning them. AWFUL.
Before Apple could launch wireless headphones, Bragi released a simpler version of the Bragi Dash headphones. They don't include fitness capabilities or any onboard storage. (Those didn't entice me anyways) They will sell for $149, but you can get them now for $119!
Edit:
Spec from site:
Bluetooth 4.0
Playtime: Up to 6 hours
Standby time: 250 hours
Charging time: less than 2 hours
@gabriel__lewis original Dash Kickstarter backers also get an additional $20 off, making them $99 effectively. An amazing price point considering the features it offers. I was a Kickstarter backer for The Dash and couldn't resist getting these!
@mattahorton I'd suggest you wait a bit before buying and look around to check what people are saying about it. I have The Dash and I as well as other buyers have the problem that I can't listen to music without the connection being interrupted all the time. Apparently the distance from my left pocket to my right ear is too long to maintain a stable connection. This only happens outside by the way. Bragi support basically told me that this is normal behaviour. This problem makes these headphones useless to a lot of people.
How can people be satisfied with 6 hours of playtime? I can only imagine the number of times I forget to charge the battery and put them on only to realize they aren't charged.
@alexbarneshere I am satisfied with such a time. I don't think such a playback time is meant for heavy users, but rather for commuters and casual listeners. I would consider these more like "accessory" headphones, not your primary pair.
@alexbarneshere For me, any wireless earbud is a fitness tool because sound quality is just going to be poop compared to my good, over-ear, desk headphones so 6 hours is more than enough :)
The marketing does a good job with showcasing what the Bragi headphone should be for: outdoor and active use. When at a desk, you'll still use your large cans or earbuds. This is for people who are traveling out and about and want something more portable. Just having the case as a charging accessory is smart.
The problem: Apple will likely sherlock them in two days.
At the price these are hands down the best wireless earbuds so far. While the charging doesn't happen in the case while on the go, the battery life is longer than others like Samsung o Motorola
I also don't need the fitness or storage features... but what I am really missing is the option to charge them in the storage case... this is unfortunately not possible with the headphones. And six hours is just not enough for me for a whole day.
@jonas_petermann Do you know how else they are charged then? The Headphones have slightly different connectors on them compared to The Dash, but still seem to be there so that they can be charged in the case. Does the case for The Headhphones not contain a battery then?
Are these actually out in the market? I'm kind of sick of seeing these pop up companies advertising wireless headphones but NONE of them have a purchasable product. This needs to get submitted to BetaList not ProductHunt
I meet the Bragi fist by this https://best10top.com/best-elect... and I won it, but now its 4GB memory did not perform. Can anyone give me their helpline link
