1/ Yes you can :) One of the cool features in Bontact is the ability to continue the same chat on different devices and on different channels, all you need to do is click on "take it on the go" to switch while you are using the chat for example.
2/We have seen customers with over 25% increase in their website conversion rate, but it really depend on your website, the products you are selling and your target audience... one thing you can be sure of is that you will not miss any conversion because your visitors can not contact you the way they like
Can you have a conversation with a customer completely via SMS?
On your website I entered my phone number, but then was texted a link to a web chat room which pushed a contact form for me to fill out with other channel information like my email address. Just confused on if you can actually have conversations on every channel or is every interaction redirected to web chat?
@dleesta Hi Daniel, yes you can :) using our dashboard or mobile app you can send reply and get SMS directly from your visitor phone, so your customer can have a full conversation via SMS. On top you can choose to get notifications for messages directly to your phone via SMS. Hope this help clear things up

@bpines1 they make awesome chat apps and there are a ton of others. We wanted to do something different, though. There are a lot of times where site visitors would rather have a conversation in different channels beyond chat, or start a conversation through chat and then move to voice or Skype or whatever. We wanted to integrate all those channels in one place so that businesses don't lose that conversation.

Sounds very interesting, I wonder how it integrates with a CRM system, because if you are bigger you might want to keep the contact history directly linked into your customer record?
@peter_pries we have an API integration for all CRMs (but you have to setup the post/get), for the less tech oriented we are working now on one click integrations for popular CRMs, What CRM on click integration would you like us to release first?
