@basgras the iOS app is being featured in the App Store -- so since it hadn't been hunted (and I didn't know it existed) I decided it should be! The web site is probably the same as it's always been.
My friends have been LOVING Boiler Room since it's inception. Great low-key listening experience that delivers a greater level of authenticity I've felt from other related services.
Speaking of Boiler Room, there's this tumblr blog called "Boiler Room knows what you did last night." which is really funny and addicting :) http://brkwydln.tumblr.com/
Love the Boiler Room broadcasts. Some of those people in the background omg. Have to give the DJs mad props being that close and mixing to some real space cadets, dancers who require a lot of space and DJ ho's 🤣🙄
Been a long-time fan since the early days of grainy webcam streams from someone's front room. (Check out Hudson Mohawke's early hip-hop sets, still one of the best shows going.) The thing you can't beat Boiler Room for is their curation, they really lead the scene internationally, both musically and for important talks on culture, society and design. Makes me proud to be a Brit!
Re-read this article on TheFader recently about Boiler Room. Great story: http://www.thefader.com/2016/11/... "How Boiler Room Went From Webcam to Broadcasting the Global Underground for Everyone"
