Boardroom is a dating app designed for busy professionals. We verify users through LinkedIn and a manual review process. We’ve designed the app to serve those looking for serious long term relationships by encouraging intentional swiping and focused matching.

Hmm this is good, but what if a manager finds his/her team member on the app? Is there any filter to avoid that?
@shushant_lakhyani Hi Shushant, that's a great question! We've got an incognito feature, where you can still reach out to people, but not appear in public :)
We're also working on a feature to hide people from your organisation

@shushant_lakhyani @wisanishilumanimakes Wisani wonder if there is a way to hide people just on your immediate team haha? Maybe you can type in their name, the app does not tell you whether they exist on the app, but as long as name & company are in the database it won't suggest you to your immediate team? Idk just asking for too much as a customer maybe 🙈
This is really interesting and knowing @wisanishilumanimakes I'm certain that extreme consideration has gone into the app.

Awesome idea! I met my girlfriend, now fiancée, on a dating app all because we were both working as software developers. So I'm at least one data point for this kind of dating app! 🙌

Income bracket is a difficult one, as it may incentivise the wrong behaviour. But it's something we'll think deeply about. One of our next big features is filtering by job level, but this also needs careful design - since an executive at a 1 person business is different from an executive from a publicly listed business of 100,000 staff.
I think this occupies a perfect niche and the features all support the overall goal of the app. I'm always apprehensive of the success of a new dating app because the competition is so strong. But this app already has such a vast network (at least in my area) - really impressed. I think it has real legs. Its familiar enough to the traditional dating app experience, but has some shining features that differentiate it, and like I said, really supports the target market.
I love that I only have 3 chats at a time. I notice if I have 5 or 6 simultaneous matches on tinder, that I don't really give any a real chance, and feel spread too thin balancing work life as well.
I've loved following the Boardroom journey and I'm impressed with the USP, execution, and traction. I have recommended it to my single peers who had great things to say about the UX :)

It's our Monday morning meeting at Anabolic, and we're discussing our latest project milestones. As we wrap up, I couldn't shake off my nerves. With a quick glance at my phone discreetly hidden under the table, I type out a message on Boardroom to my coworker seated across the room.
'Hey, I know this is out of the blue, but would you be interested in grabbing coffee sometime?'
Heart pounding, I hit send and try to focus on the remaining agenda items.
To my relief, her face lights up as she reads the message, and she responds with an enthusiastic 'Yes!'
Sometimes, all it takes is a little courage and a Boardroom message to turn a professional connection into something more.
