@chrismessina @ianwdj Everything about the editor is so heavily interconnected that it's hard for me to be very specific. I can tell some CommonMark edge cases are particularly tricky and time-consuming, but most of our focus was on parsing performances of a document and while writing.

This looks really cool! I'm going to give it a try. I couldn't really get into Obsidian and Relfect, but i feel like this might be a bit different. Im loving the visuals and the previews of the text

Yay, Bear! While I'm starting to shift to Notion, I've been using and loving Bear for many moons. It's an ideal note-taking app and it's wonderful to see it get new features that will expand its value while keeping its gorgeous design and simplicity.
Beautiful! Had the opportunity to use the original Bear tool a few years back and it was so amazing! Best wishes for the new product and looking forward to using the new version!
Bear has been my main note-taking app for several years now. It is one of the few apps that I subscribe to. It is a pleasure to write in and so easy to find the information I need when I need it.

Long time Bear fan. Just tried the new Bear 2 update today. I love the new features (hidden markdown, table support). My notes are looking even better now! As a productivity geek myself, I try out many note-taking apps: Notion, Obsidian, etc.
Bear is my daily driver. It's simple, reliable, fast and beautiful. Forget every other note-taking app and just use Bear.
Worth the wait! Having been a Beta tester and now happily using the production version - this is one of the most beautiful and carefully crafted writing apps in the apple ecosystem. It's pixel perfect, easy to organise and gets out the way. Now with hidden markdown, tables, ToC, and backlinks. Excellent portability, export and sync. It's a delight to use.

This app is as close to perfection as any app I've ever used. Elegant, super fast, polished, just an absolute joy to use. I've used this since I graduated from medical school 5 years ago. 1629 notes later and all my work and life is catalogued in Bear -- using it right now to study for my final boards exam in two days. The v2 update is spectacular --- tables, image resizing, backlinks, everything you could want. The developers are true craftspeople who have created something remarkable.
Bear is nearly perfect in every way. Fast, intuitive, beautiful. It's where all my notes start. The latest release is simply beautiful.
I'm glad I gave Bear a try, fell in love immediately. You've been working very hard and can see all the heart and soul poured into it.
