We Brits love to moan about the weather. The BBC receives a ton of emails and messages every day with pictures of the weather so they created this portal for people to submit their local weather conditions with pictures. The data and images will help increase the accuracy of local weather forecasts. The site is also part of the BBC's "designed to inspire people across the UK to get creative with coding, programming and digital technology" as well as educate people about meteorology. We certainly do love to moan about the weather!! Not sure we need this as we can safely assume 🌧 (disclaimer, I live in Wales which seems to be a lot wetter than other areas of the UK!!)
