@lexdeak yes, for instance during these black friday days, between colleagues we set up a slack channel with interesting offers. Right now if you want to add a web hook to post to that channel you'd have to write a little html parser for the price. While, with your app, one can leverage the existing user friendly experience, posting results to a developer friendly endpoint
I just added an item from my shopify store, and reduced the price afterwards. Still there is no notification from Basket.
@bbeldagli Hey Desert Man, our scheduler runs multiple times per day, it may take a few hours for the price drop to be registered.
@lexdeak I see, but you'd need to inform customers how frequently they will get notification. Getting price drop alerts is your main USP :)

I'm thrilled to share what we've been working on.
Basket is a mobile app built in Flutter that let's you save products from any online retailer simply by 'sharing' to Basket. The app then lets you know about price drops for things you're eyeing up.
We're launching shared Baskets soon alongside a desktop interface and Chrome extension.
There's a whole bunch of cool features on the roadmap. If you'd like to collab or have any cool ideas we'd love to chat.
Please note that Basket it only available in the UK just now but soon we'll be rolling out further afield.
A key thing with extension/plug-ins is security. Worth stating something about security of the plugin on your website. Also some clarity on data tracking. Congrats on the launch
@ronankmcgovern thanks Ronan, excellent point. From a security/tracking perspective we're a lot more appealing than the status quo as we're not tracking anyone around the web...rather we're giving consumers and retailers a tool to connect where it's relevant and not otherwise.

@parekh_tanmay Thanks Tanmay, yes Basket does work with Amazon and funny should should ask...Chrome extension is coming in next in in the next couple of weeks.
