Since then, along with ~over 10k users, we've received feedback and contributions and evolved the app into something we are all proud of. If you are unfamiliar with Backdrop, it is an app and social network that lets people find and share beautiful spaces worldwide and all the key details about these spaces. At Backdrop, our mission is to become the go-to travel companion and travel discovery app for people who are adventurous and curious about the world. We can’t do this if we aren’t accessible to as many people as possible, which is why our app is finally available on Android! In addition to the new app, we’ve also added; — A social feed, which allows you see what other users are liking and posting. — Public collections, which allows you share your collections of favourite backdrops with other users. — Improved search feature and explore page, which allows you find even more backdrops you’ll love. — Over 60 new cities, including Lisbon, Bali, Mexico and Morocco — A brand new look and feel for the app, which reflects our evolution since we launched. Just like the iOS app, the Android app allows users find and share beautiful spaces around the world. The Backdrop feed offers a steady stream of stunning spots near and far; our Key Details feature provides all the necessary information about said spots and our Collections feature allows you to organise and share your favourite backdrops with others. You can now follow other Backdrop users and have whatever they like or post show up on your feed. You can also get your friends with great taste to join so you have even more people to follow. **About Backdrop finally being available on Android, CEO Damilola Odufuwa said:** “Backdrop is built to be a global product with users across many demographics, including those on multiple smartphone devices.
