Woohoo! I said somewhere previously, this use-case is the perfect one for a bot :) But its still the issue of racing to get your phone out, go to messenger, then message audioshot - this friction can be an issue (and is what the issue is with the Shazam app IMO)

@sarthakgh yeh I get that. This use case (and similar ones) are what I think bots will be good for - but juts the slight friction here is a bit of a hurdle for now. Often in this scenario you need to be quick so saying 'hey Siri, what song is this?' may still be the most efficient way

@bentossell agreed. Maybe Spotify could come up with it if Apple let's third party music services. Spotify is working on AI and concierge services now.

@bentossell @sarthakgh I agree. One of the reasons I've stopped using Shazam so much is because of this friction, particularly if I would ned to add a step by opening and using the bot inside Messenger.

Love it. I know so many people who couldn't justify keeping a separate app to discover the music they stumble upon. Perfect medium for such service, well played!

Thought it would be a great idea to use the microphone to Shazam songs directly in Messenger.
