Here you can create websites and apps as quickly as in website builders and as beautifully as in graphic editors. NoCode or Code? The choice is yours. Do it by yourself or connect components from popular UI react libraries with a single click.
This looks really cool! It looks like it can be helpful for someone like me who has a lotta trouble connecting the backend code that I write and the frontend code that I theoretically know how to write but have no idea how to make it look like it's "put together", so to speak, and link up properly with the backend functionalities. Good stuff!
Nice product. Currently I use another website builder to create landing pages with nice animation. But this one may be my next favourite tool :) Can I design here animations and transitions visually?
@matthew_gordon it's free as long as we can, and trust me it will be lowest price on market after it. And i think, that core features will be in freemium mode
@ivan_zenkovich Hello! Thank you! :)
Yes, you can already create any kind of animation you like. That doesn't comy out-of-the-box, you need to connect React components from npm (that's really easy) or create your own (a bit more complicated).
You may want to have a look at the Quarkly home page, it's made with Quarkly and it has quite a few animation pieces, all of them were made with ease, no sufferings involved ;)
And in the future, we'll definitely keep adding new ready-to-use components and blocks to the product to make such tasks even easier.
Bro alex_kols I love it so much, the deployment with GitHub and Netlify is so seamless... this is the future. It's actually scalable finally. Love it man!
Hi Product Hunters 👋
Thank you @kevin for hunting us!
My name is Alex, I am a co-founder and the lead dev at Quarkly. A few months ago I have invited everyone to the early testing of our project, telling you about its important element – our own development called Atomize. Back then, we were still in alpha, and frankly speaking were not quite ready. Since then, there were a lot of new features and updates planned, and we made significant progress with them. During the summer and early autumn, we implemented the most of our Roadmap milestones – in fact, even more than that.
We think that now we are ready to start an open beta! 🚀
Working on our product, we aim to make the process of website or app creation in Quarkly as simple as possible, and at the same time ensure that the end result is a competitive professional project with clear and readable code. We humbly believe that we are doing a good job by far.
Quarkly allows you to create websites and web apps both using a mouse and typing the code – you get all the pros of responsive editing, but you can also open the code editor at any time and manually edit anything you (don’t) like – everything will synchronize perfectly! 👌🏻
Designers can work in Qaurkly the same way as they are used to in Figma – they will find many familiar things in the interface. For developers we have a module assembler in all its glory: hmr, npm-modules.
Our end goal is to create a useful tool that will optimize the entire cycle of website and app development. We work on reducing the entry bar and increasing the abstractions level, so that everyone can create their own stunning website!
Happy commenting! 😎
?makers great job on the intro video. Slick easy to understand captures the user to want to try it more...Question; Do you come across users asking if you have services to do the development using your tool (like an outsourced service)?
@sbrands Hello, Daryl! Thank you for the interest in our product! We didn't announce it on the home page, but actually we do have the outsource department. At this point, is there a specific task you're looking to solve or are you asking in general? Whatever it is, I'm sure we can find a solution for you :)
@jas801@alex_kols Hey Alex, I have tried for two days to make something simple on using Quarkly, It didn't work out.
1. Editing code is nice but the ability to create seperate files would be awesome, to keep it structured.
2. I could not make a simple gradient work...... It kept jumping colours.
3. What is the idea behind that white box in the middle? Seems useless to me, I would rather have (HTML) body to work with.
@jas801@alex_kols Hello Jasper!
1. I don't quite understand what you mean. Would you like to have an opportunity to create folders and files just like in IDE?
Currently, you can create individual react components in independent files and move them to the page. The nesting is not yet available, the structure is flat so far. Also, you can create individual pages.
2. Could you share a link to your project or record a video and send in PM?
3. We have a slightly different concept, in the code editor instead of HTML we use JSX syntax by React. And the white box is the representation of the page where you can add components.
Thanks!)
@jas801 Hello! Thank you Jasper. We never stop working on improving our UX. And will be glad to hear any concrete issues and solutions you may want to suggest.
