Around 3.0 — Video calls with music and games for your next happy hour

Try out our limited edition Holiday Spirit theme for a dose of cheer at your next holiday get together! 🎵 Vibes: Want to add some atmosphere to co-working sessions or design jams? Add music to every type of meeting with one of our curated playlists, including themes like Synthwave, Night Drive, and Chillhop. 🧨 Games: There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to encourage team bonding. We now offer games like Boom Party (drop dynamite to eliminate other players until you’re the last one standing) and Curve Fever (survive the longest by avoiding curves left by other player’s ships), with more games on the way! It’s also a great way to blow off some steam before jumping back into that big project. 👏 Icebreakers: Did that presentation deserve a round of applause? Or cheering from the stands? In addition to reacting with GIFs and emojis, you can also respond with Icebreakers, which are short audio reactions that can be heard by everyone in the meeting. Congratulations to the Around.co team!! Great to see this pop-up on PH today. Around is one of my favorite tools of all time! I fell in love with the design and the utility the very first time I used it and it has become an integral part of my workflow. I use it extensively for both personal and professional connections. I recommend Around at every opportunity and when I can persuade people off of the standard fare (Zoom, Teams, Meet, etc.) they are blown away by how much different (better?) Around feels to use. The campfire mode is brilliant and the desktop app is fantastic. The features are really well designed and the entire flow is intuitive, consistent and reliable. I onboarded dozens of users during the beta because I loved using Around so much. I cannot recommend this tool enough! Great team, great product!

Awesome idea! Thank you for implementing it and sharing it with us! *_* I found it very helpful, especially for the current social happenings! It is important to build inter-humans relations that are spiced with fun time (and that are more than just a professional connection)... Also, I must say, the features that Around 3.0 is offering are so cool! I think it is an especially good point for connecting with new teammates - making a friendly, warm atmosphere where they can feel homely even working remotely... Really bravo! I'm using this fantastic piece of software for almost one year now - it's definitely my number one productivity tool of 2021! Highly recommended!

Around is a fantastic tool that makes video calls fun and a lot less mentally taxing. The team consistently cranks out amazing updates with new features and improvements. We use it for all our calls at Detail. They've found a really good balance between being a powerful and professional app, and being fun with filters, reactions, and vibes. I'm honestly super stoked to find out what Around will be releasing in the coming years.

We use Around and we love it! The only thing that bothers us is that the mobile version for Android doesn't have "Screen Share" which is vital to many teams like us.

I've been using Around for a couple of months now and for me it's THE BEST collaboration tool there is. I cannot stress enough how absolutely awesome it is. I describe Around as 'face to face without being in your face'. It has solved the problem of seeing anfd talking to your co-workers without taking over your entire screen. To quote the legendary Dieter Rams: ""Simplicity is the key to excellence!" And that is what Around offers. I've developed a lot of concepts lately with co-workers using the powerful combination of Around and Miro. I never dreamed it would be possible to do this part of my work remotely. Put thanks to these two tools it is. Around 1.0 was powerful as a facilitator of remote working, The new update is putting the fun into that as well. Have I said how it's THE BEST and absolutely awesome? No? Well.. it's THE BEST and absolutely awesome. P.S. I'm not normally a fanboy of sofware / online tools, but with Around it's well deserved.

We've been using Around for over a year. We're super happy with it, from being able to get work done to just having a chat and playing some games whilst we wait for everyone to join the meeting. It has become or go-to for meetings at Wego. Best of Luck!!

I love Around! Everything is awesome and we use it for all our meetings now! Although wish we could share screen on mobile apps too! We have to switch to GoogleMeet for demoing our mobile apps! :(

Arount is the best reimagining of group team calls. And now, with the pandemic raging in the world, it's like a breath of fresh air. Congratulations on the update!

Wait but the interactive games via video chat is next-level 👀 awesome product @dominikbalogh! Was waiting for someone to finally release something like this. The team-building Flash browser games are just clunky and not as collaborative.

This is a great update! Loving the idea of larger gatherings and the full webcam feature. Keep up the great work! Recording next ;-)

My team and I seriously love Around. Especially the echo terminator feature which let's us run standup as a hybrid in-office and remote team. The video bubbles and camping mode is really cool too.

We've been using Around 3.0 at Order Desk since March 2021 and haven't looked back! We're a fully remote company, so we've relied on Around to keep us connected for all of our meetings—small standups to full company-wide meetings. In the latest release, we've been playing games together almost every week now, and we can't wait to see what's next from the Around team! :)

Long time PH lurker here, I think that's my first comment and I wanted to share that for me Around is one of the best products I've seen in 2021 (and probably 2020, too). Love it, you people created something amazing.

Around was a game changer for me. I love the product. I try to bring feedback to these guys because I love how easy to use and interactive this tool is! Keep going! I'm a proud hunter of Around , Around 2.0, and will be again for Around 3.0! Let me make this clear, I am NOT an affiliate or member the company or the software. Never have been. @dominikbalogh and his team have been a joy to support, the Around e-mails are always fun to receive announcing updates, and the software... is absolutely BRILLIANT. My teams (I run multiple companies) use Around daily, even though we have Teams, Zoom and Slack, as it captures peoples faces and tracks them around the room wherever they are sitting. So you are speaking TO the person, not AT a room. The filters, games and so on are good, but not key to our use case. Get around to Around. We are loving it. I bet you will too.
