Thanks for the hunt @neerajt4 Hi PH We spent the last three months building ariv.ai. Today we’d like to share what we’ve built with the Product Hunt community! Ariv.ai is a new way to find and share knowledge, a personal knowledge bot if you will and today we are launching Ariv for Slack. As more and more teams collaborate remotely, tools like Slack are the “thread” that ties conversations together. We’ve built Ariv to make it easier to stay on top of things that interest you, as well as find answers from these conversations, just ask Ariv. With Ariv you can ask questions, like you would if your colleague was within earshot, and get answers. list the topics that interest you, and schedule when you’d like to get a digest of messages for these topics. Earn “Karma” points for creating & curating community knowledge right within slack. And that’s not even the best part. You can do all of these things without writing knowledge articles, or flagging pieces of content as knowledge. Let artificial intelligence and machine learning do the heavy lifting, users simply continue having conversations as they normally do, Knowledge Management without the overheads of managing knowledge. Go on, sign up for the beta, and if you run a Large public Slack Community and would like to see what ariv can do to make the tribal knowledge within your channels more accessible, contact me to discuss how we can help. P.S. Though ariv is built on our robust iengage.ai platform, it’s still an early version and we know that there will be glitches. Please do not hesitate to ping us when you find an issue, and we’ll do whatever it takes to resolve the problem. P.P.S. We’d love to know how you and your team manage enterprise knowledge at the moment. What's great and what's not-so-great about your current process. If you have any suggestions, ideas or insights feel free to shoot me an email, DM or post a reply right here. We’d love to hear from you, especially about how you’d like to use Ariv.
Slack vs MS Teams - whats your work collaboration platform of choice?
Rohith Veerajappa
An extremely useful tool to manage the knowledge on our Slack. We run a community where new folks join and ask questions that have already been addressed in the past. Ariv.ai helps maintain a knowledge base and avoids repeat conversations, ensuring fresher and more meaningful conversation on our Slack. Keep up the good work guys.
@rohith_veerajappa Thanks for the kind words Rohith
Nags Nagarajan
What an awesome idea to avoid the clutter and get straight to the insights!
Dilip Thomas Ittyera
@nags247 Nags do get your team to check it out
Suresh Sambandam
Finally there is something to solve the noisy slack problem. Well done Ariv.ai team.
@sureshsambandam Yes Suresh, we hope that Ariv will be more than a filter, it will also be a knowledge repository to answer questions and discover insights.
Manoj Tiwary
Amazing concept to mine from the knowledge base built on top of Slack. You guys rock... All the best!!!!
@manojtiwary Thanks Manoj, and it not just built on top of Slack, it lives within Slack so no need to go anywhere else to do anything. Everything happens right inside the app we all love. Slack!
Jopu John
Productive tool to keep all your information in an organized way. Would like to see the MS Teams version of it. Thanks
@jopu_john We hear you, work on a MS Teams version is in the pipeline.

Manier times SLACK “Searchable Log of All Conversation & Knowledge” becomes unsearchable. If searching for things within Slack is a bit of a challenge, you should try Ariv. Highly recommended. Pros: Insanely helpful Cons: Wish I'd had it earlier
@swapneel_dhivar3290 Thanks Swapneel, Its not just about Searching its also about creating meaningful associations between the disparate bits of conversations that happen all over slack to create a reusable context, which is then used to augment the team. There's a lot more still to come with Ariv.
Krishna Ramaswami
Simple but powerful. Extracting intelligence from a maze
@krishna_ramaswami Well said Krishna, we hope to see you using Ariv soon.
Shankar K
It’s an interesting take on reusing knowledge from a companies internal chat. Can’t wait to see what the Microsoft Teams version of Ariv will look like.
@shankar_k That seems to be a popular request. We are working on it Shankar.

Our slack workspace get's pretty busy with over a 1000 employees chatting throughout the day, it's quite a clutter. The interest feature looks really helpful because there's no way all those messages are important for me. Having a way to filter them based on personal preference is a great feature to have. Searching for answers by asking questions makes it easier for me to find threads that I wouldn't look at twice. I'm really looking forward to using it on my workspace. Overall a great initiative. Keep up the good work! Also love the dolphin!
@leona_vas Thanks Leona - do drop your email in the hat for early access @ launch.ariv.ai we can't wait to start deploying Ariv in workspaces like yours.
Erik Zijdemans
Can't wait to try this out. You guys are taking Slack to the next level!
@erik_zijdemans Thanks Erik,
Pradeep Thozhakkat
A great tool to use with your corporate knowledgebase. With employees moving jobs frequently ariv can be leveraged to upskill new comers quickly and be the go to person for everybody in an organisation.
@pradeep_thozhakkat Thats absolutely true Pradeep. Having knowledge gleaned from previous interactions that the employee had readily available when you need it makes the transitions much easier.
Deepali Sharma
Amazing stuff and out of the box concept. All the best team and congratulations. Good work.
@deepali_sharma6 Thank you so much for the kind words. Suggestions and feedback is always welcome.
Conrad Egusa
Great product Dilip, Nitesh and the Ariv.ai team!
@conradegusa Thanks Conrad.
Daniela Peña Romero
This tool sounds amazing and extremely useful now that our work has turned remote! I have a question though ... Will Slack work for multiple workspaces?
@danielapenar Hi Daniela, at the moment ariv will work for single workspaces I'm afraid. We are working through some technical challenges around how people and slack structure workspaces to better understand how knowledge and context can be created for individuals who may be members of multiple workspaces. Perhaps in a future release we'll have a solution for this, but for now Ariv is a one workspace bot!
NaveenKumar Namachivayam
Did you know ariv.ai means knowledge in Tamil :) ?makers
@naveenkumar Yes it does, and that is precisely the reason for choosing that name for our Dolphin, which also happens to be one of the most intelligent mammals on the planet. Nice catch Naveen.
Dilip Thomas Ittyera
@naveenkumar yes. In Malayalam too
Vishal Chaudhari
Most frustrating part of collaborating on amazing platforms like slack has been inability to find and use the key insights exactly when needed. Ariv is a like a sage. It gets what's needed out of the clutter of so much of data within the exact context. Super useful and valuable.
Ariv.ai is now officially available on the Slack App Directory https://aikonlabs.slack.com/apps... No more wait lists, just go ahead and install ariv and reuse conversational knowledge from your slack workspace.
Nikhil John
There's a lot of information in many of the slack channels I'm on. One of the reasons I rarely go back to them is because it's super hard to remember where the conversation happened. The capability of asking the bot questions and it leading me to a related message is something I'm looking forward to. When it comes to the interests, it will be great to set up a curated feed of my own. Great going, cant wait to try it out!
@nikhil_john1 We cant wait to have you and your team on-board!
