Finding all marketplace deals is nearly impossible, which is sad because there are many gems in the marketplace. The pain among the LTD community was real, eventually I jumped on the opportunity and organized everything with my own tool: https://rodrigomartinez.fyi.to/a... . One of my latest finds, and that has monetization potential, is highlighted in the list. It's a smart certicate tool (I'm not related with them). Founders need every chance they can to promote their startup, thank you @noahkagan for bringing us AppSumo Marketplace!!

in addition, this is a great opportunity not only for sales but also for product-market fit.
I get a lot of suggestions and questions there from real sumo-lings and now I have already received a ton of feedback and reviews, which is very important for a new product so now my roadmap is full for the year ahead.

and yes I forgot to mention here for the PH community
that there is a possibility of iteration and within lean startup's methodology, in fact
you can grow gradually
in the beginning, you get some feedback and reviews from appsumo customers and get additional promotion from AppSumo
then you grow and get new reviews and ratings and get the opportunity to promote for the appsumo main mailing list - ( I hope I will be there soon with Proven.ly )
this is kind maybe of a "tiny kickstarter" for your startup

One of the best things to happen in the small biz space during these pandemic times is this marketplace. Awesome idea, small businesses helping one another by buying and selling one another's products instead of buying from the expensive market dominating players :)

Great idea but I feel it's not perfect yet.
As far I know the products with less than 5 reviews are not displayed in the marketplace forcing some(very few) developers to create new accounts and drop reviews till they have the initial 5 reviews. The "1 product purchased" tag shows this. I might be wrong.
Is there a reason why you don't display products in the listing page until it gets 5 reviews?

@quincylun Right now we use an algorithm similar to Amazon that figures out where to rank products. It’s something we’ll be working on for a long time.
@noahkagan As a longtime sumo-ling I thought it was 100% manual! Very cool - how much of it do you think it can be automated and how much are you aiming?
As a Appsumo customer I can say that you will find great products such as Burner Mail Reader Mode Brain.fm Kriya AI and many more for a very large discount. It is a must check before buying any SaaS.
