Visited your website for more info and saw this message "Transcriber launched on Product Hunt. For users from Product Hunt special offer: +3 hours for transcription FOR FREE." However, when I click on the "Check It Out" button it takes me back to a general Product Hunt page. How do I access the offer you posted?

The "try your first transcription for free" is misleading: it'll process an entire hour of video, but then only provide the first 30 seconds of the transcription -- not what I expected. Really hard to get a sense of its quality from only the first 30 seconds of a video (in my trial the error rate was higher than I expected).

I set up an account and purchased transcriptions through their service. However, I attempted to log in again about a week after my first transaction and my credentials no longer worked. When I attempted to reset my password, it says my email doesn't exist even though I have their activation email in my inbox. I'm not comfortable having put my payment information into a service I can no longer access. I've reached out to the company via their contact form and by responding to their listed email. No response.

Pros:

Inexpensive for quick transcriptions that don't need to be 100% accurate

Cons:

No longer have access to my account and no response from customer support.

I am curious how are you doing to complete with YouTube. They have a pretty good subtitling feature and it's free.

Used this product several times to transcribe my user-interviews, it was quite smooth experience. Nice instrument to boost discovery stage for products.

Timestamp feature is cool when your recognition isn't perfect – I use that to store and prioritize my users' feedbacks and feature-requests together with airtable.

Pros:

Will definitely use it! Very good features.

Transcription was great. The only problem was that, in transcribing a conversation, there was no way to know who was speaking. I've upvoted because of the transcription quality, but would be great if you could figure out how to differentiate between voices. Though, perhaps I'm spoiled! 🤤

Tried French and compared it to Trint. Trint beats Transcriber hands down.
