Anima is a design to code platform for designers and developers. Anima translates Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch designs into developer-friendly Vue, HTML & React code.
Hey hunters đź‘‹!
We’re super excited to share Anima for Vue.js on Product Hunt!
We are developers, designers, and product managers, who used to spend way too much time explaining things to each other, instead of seeing our ideas actually materialize. That’s why we built Anima, a design to code platform, helping designers and developers spend more time on creative work, than on grunt work.
With our latest Vue.js integration, you can now get workable, developer-friendly Vue code for Figma, Adobe XD & Sketch designs, in a matter of a click.
Developer-friendly code means code you’d actually want to use. Clean, component-based code, with zero dependencies and refactoring.
Other features worth mentioning:
🎨 Anima Smart Style-guide, automatically collects fonts, colors and repeating CSS
✨Auto-Flexbox, producing CSS flex based layout automagically
👨‍💻 CodeSandbox integration, to run your Vue code with a click
Cheers,
Avishay
You guys just saved me literal hours' worth of trouble, so glad I found this just in time. I love how easy it is to convert my entire design into Vue code with a single click.
Looks so interesting really, I know it’ll be such a huge time-saver for me. The code looks clean and crisp and for once, I can just completely focus on the creative aspects of my work! Also thanks so much for allowing it to work on multiple platforms from Figma all the way to Sketch.
Just tried it out. Very fast / seamless onboarding and integration with Figma. Already seeing the code for my designs which is incredibly valuable. Will share with my devs and get their feedback + upgrade to paid if they approve. Nicely done - huge problem to solve!
The quality of the conversion from Figma is very poor. It can't convert certain elements and just use a huge picture in the background; Unfortunately I found this out after I spent 40 dollars for the paid version.
It would be great if their product worked and it would save tons of time, but I think they are still far from a great design -> html product.
The quality of all other figma -> html tool is also bad, so it's probably just a hard technology to nail down.
