Not in a position to complain as a white male but wouldn't it have been better to get rid of gender stereotypes entirely? Put a wetsuit on the swimmers and give them a grey cap, no hints to gender. And for all the other ones just don't give them hair (like the standard faces). A lot of comments are about women having long hair as a stereotype but men having short hair is an annoying stereotype as well.

Google: long hair = female. Short hair = male. And then change the shirt colour, but don't bother with the actual body shape.

The fact that people complain about the gender of an "emoji" is what's wrong with society today. But it doesn't surprise me anymore I guess. Anyway, I'll leave out the debate rhetoric for the sake of the Product Hunt community.
