Product is amazing, no doubt!
I just read few comments regarding pricing. So you charge per article? Frankly, I read so much stuff in one day.
And I don't think users will pay for per article. There should be some changes. It's not affordable for people like me.
I prefer reading. Can't add more.
@atulghorpade Thanks for the feedback Atul! As a fellow reader I think this is more appropriate to that long article you say you'll read but never get around to and need to print off to actually get through.
We'd love to bring the price down and eventually will, the reason this has cost is in the human editing that gets added in to the AI, to make sure that you really learn and comprehend the material. The sound production quality, so using the best text to speech tech out there in addition with voice acting when needed, and last but not least actual audio production - music soundtrack or sounds to break the monotony.
Hope that explains the cost, weβd love to bring it down and that is the idea. In the meantime maybe itβs something you can expense π
@guyhadash@rajat_dangi1 Thanks Rajat! I agree that $12 is a bit high and that's why we offered the $35 per month (which is $7 per article). We'd love to lower the price but at the moment can't do it feasibly from our end although hopefully at some point in the future :)
@yehoshua_zlotogorski great product but yes the pricing is a little too steep. Hopefully in a few quarters you will be able to bring it down as more users start using it.
@mdraznin thanks michael! I understand that for sure. There are lots of free reader apps out there that use off-the-shelf text to speech, but we felt they were not good enough. The reason this has cost is in the human editing that gets added in to the AI, then make sure that you really learn and comprehend the material, the sound production quality, so using the best text to speech tech out there in addition with voice acting when needed, and last but not least actual audio production - music soundtrack or sounds to break the monotony.

@makers@alon_keren If you download the Alpe app and search for a course name 'Conversion Kit' you'll find an example article - it's this article: https://www.nfx.com/post/network...
I'd love to offer free samples of any article but at the moment it does cost us money to do for free, so just can't :-/
