Yes, you can be sure :) Nitro is part of Alconost, which in its turn is a translation and localization company. Our translators work both on larger projects at Alconost and on smaller and faster tasks in Nitro, which gives them more stable workload. All the translators that work in Nitro undergo the same recruitment stages as the translators that work on our large localizations projects.
So yeah! The beauty of Nitro is that it's a human translation platform, and you get authentic translations the quality of which you can be sure of!

I am happy to announce that Nitro’s third launch on Product Hunt has arrived 😺 For me, this shows the quality and speed at which the product is developing. And speed is what defines our work and the results obtained this time.
Time is an incredibly valuable resource for our users. But how to speed things up when everything is already automated in the Nitro platform and users leave the feedback: “Love that Nitro has a simple interface”? This time we looked beyond Nitro, and here's what we found.
Think for a minute, where your text that needs to be translated is located?
The answer is in a file. It doesn't matter if it's Google Sheets, .strings, .html or something else.
It's always a file. A file is more than just text. It is:
📌styles,
📌special formatting,
📌comments,
📌keys and values,
📌important tags.
All this time, users had to copy text from their files to send it to Nitro for translation and after the translation had been completed, they had to repeat the same process to add the translated text to their files. This process took a super long time. And it occurred to us: “Why not send the translation file directly, skipping all the copying and pasting? This will speed things up for all users.”
The result is Nitro 3.0! 🚀
A place where not only text, but formats like .json, .strings (for iOS), .html (via API), Google Sheets, and Google Docs can be translated—and you can save time!

In the past, I worked on automatic translating, which was complicated. Glad to see translations are getting better, and more accurate over time. Even if AI is doing a good job, it will never replace a native speaker.

Hi guys! I'm a maker, I'm a marketer, and I'm the Nitro fan :)
I've been constantly using it for marketing routine, and it is ingenious!

Congrats on the launch! It says "file translation by native speakers". How does Nitro ensure that the translators are native speakers and skilled professionals?

All the translators that work in Nitro undergo the same recruitment stages as the translators that work on our large localizations projects. It consists of several steps. Step 1: we make a background check (education, work history, place of residence). Step 2: we ask to do a test for us that is checked by our trusted reviewer. When in doubt, we may ask a translator to provide contacts of former employers who can vouch for their expertise. But, usually, the first 2 steps are enough to form an informed opinion about a translator.
