Long awaited! Happy to see how Nitro is growing. Translating Google Docs is only the beginning.
We're very happy to introduce to you the revamped version of Nitro 🥳 previously our human translation platform only supported plain text format, but now it also supports file translation 😺
You can add a link to your Google Docs file and get the translation back with all the formatting kept, which saves you time ;)

@between_team it is all human translation :) the turnaround time is still pretty fast (not instant, but normally translations are finished within 24 hours) because of our workflow. Nitro is part of Alconost, which in turn is a translation and localization company. Our translators work both on larger projects at Alconost and on smaller and faster tasks in Nitro which gives them more stable workload.

It’s been 8 months since our first launch on PH, and we’re super excited to introduce to you our big update 🔥
When we launched Nitro, our professional translation platform, users could only paste plain text for translation, and then copy the finished translation back into a Google Doc, Google Sheet or .json file.
But wouldn’t it be great if users could simply upload their file for translation? So our product and dev team started working on a big update: a file translation feature.
Currently we’ve added the option to upload Google Docs and receive the translation in the file, with all the formatting in place. Making sure all the formatting is preserved (headings, bullet lists, text in bold and italics, text in different colors, etc.) was the longest and most complicated part of this feature.
So today we are proud to show you an improved version of Nitro where you can not only get a plain text translated quickly, but also Google Docs keeping its original formatting, links and pictures.

By far, it's the best tool I know to order little quality translations (I use it for things like emails, IMs etc.) done by a human.
